Game was loose
When game was received it was loose in case. Thankfully the game was not damaged. The game it's self is one you definitely have to practice to get the hang of.

Great Game!!
Okay, you have to be a County Fair, Midway, sidestreet Carnival fan of games of chance to love this game!! It is EXACTLY like playing a game at the Fair, or even the midway section of your favorite amusement parks.Bowling, shootin ducks, shootin stars, horse race, basketball toss, ring toss, coin on the plate toss, frog jumper, football toss, hole-in-one, etc. They've even added in a few extra games that you have to "trade" up in prizes to unlock. Competition can be head to head which allows you to go to any game you want and play as long as you want against your opponent, or it can be straight up competition in which you play five random games against your opponent and you have to beat them on points earned for each game you win. I like it!! The kids and I have had soooooooooooooo much fun since we opened this up, everybody wants a piece of the action. Adding in the skill needed on the Wii Controllers just adds to the laughs!Okay, now the bad parts: the game is kind of racial... can only create white faces here. And, in competition mode, you cannot earn prizes or unlock games unless someone has played alone, won the prizes, and traded up to unlock it already.Other than those drawbacks, the game is a whoot! Who needs the rush of a county fair now? Not when I can play all my favorites at home!

Review by aging boomer whose last video game experience was Atari.....
It's OK, but I didn't find it at all intuitive to use. I have read the instruction manual twice and still have difficulty. (As opposed to the Wii Sports that came with the console, which I simply started playing!)I was terribly disappointed not to be able to use my Mii's, which I assumed would work with all games - for the reason for my assumption, see my review's title.... ;->I didn't like the Carnival Games characters nearly as much as the Mii's - less choice and control in face/hair/etc. (The Mii's are amazing! - I made, for example, an exact duplicate of Hank Hill.) And, unless I'm missing something, the Carnival Games characters offer no ethnic variety.I found the carnival barkers annoying and wish there was a way to turn them off. It also seemed to me that there were fewer things you could skip past than in the Wii Sports. This and Wii Sports are the only two games I have so far, and I think there is a pretty stark contrast between them, not in Carnival Games' favor. I play this one sometimes (I bought it mostly for the skee ball), but I'd really just as soon I'd saved my money.

Fun times
I haven't played this in ages so I decided to purchase a used copy for the nostalgia. Got it fast, kudos the the seller for that, and it works great. Brings back fun memories of playing this with friends. The game has several old-school carnival games that are still popular today and the controls, while a bit clunky, are generally responsive.

Great fun both in single player as multiplayer modes!
I had my doubts at first that it may not be that fun, but I started playing it and I like the big amount and varieties of games there are. I'm sure in multiplayer mode is even more fun, I haven't had a chance to play it like that but I can imagine going against friends and family, if in single player is challenging enough. An interesting thing is that in single player mode you are able to challenge yourself and get better at the game by reaching the highest level of prices and also, by doing so, you unlock stuff (either games or accesories for your character).

Review of game
This is a fun collection of classic carnival games quite a bit to do if you get tired of the typical first person shooter games or stuff like that it's just a fun way to pass the time do I got to admit the sequel to this was much better which is rare usually the original is far better than the sequel not in this case but it's still a fun game to play nonetheless

A lot of games to choose from!
This Wii game is made up of tons of mini games. It's great for kids that have short attention spans and want to try a lot of different things. Not so great for kids that like to start a game that progresses and has levels. I found that it leads to arguments between my kids with choosing which game they are going to play since they are so short. Some of the games are easy enough for my 4 yr old to play and others are a little tricky, but overall I'd say that it's good for all ages, even young ones. My 10 yr old only plays this when she has to play something that her brother can play with her.

Fun games, Good Fun for Everyone.
It's getting harder to find great Wii Games, and this is a great addition to our collection. Their are 30 games that will remind you of the days spent at your local fairs, but without the cost and annoying carnival barkers. This game is fun for both individual or group play. Different actions are used for each game, and it is easy learn and advance your skills.
