Easy for little hands!
My granddaughter, who is almost three, absolutely loves pushing the Play-Doh through the different shapes and watching what she is accomplishing. I know the toy will grow with her as she gets older and realizes that she can put the different shapes together and make more things. Doesn't cost much and will be used for years!

Fun with the Dough
Fun shapes with Play Dough...recently had a kit that had one in it...found these and the grandkids have really had a lot of fun.

For kids older than 4 years
They are a bit hard to push the playdough through. However, the children love to interact with them.

The easiest play doh toy for my 2 year old to play with BY HIMSELF
Almost every play doh toy is too complete or difficult for my 2 (almost 3) year old to work by himself without me doing it so I was thrilled to find these. Easy to load, not too hard to push through and clean out for him without my help so it's encouraging him to play by himself a little bit. Two thumbs up from me.

Hard to push
Difficult for little hands to push the plunger down. Shape not very apparent when looking at it unless looking at the end. Bought for 18 month old but I had to push much harder than expected myself to move play doh through. Toy is listed for 3 yo but since it was difficult as an adult, I believe a 3 yo would be frustrated with it

Not Worth It
This is a set of 5 twice. They are cheap quality. I threw out one set because why would I want the same thing twice? Kids can't push the plunger on some of them because it's too hard to push the playdoh out the small holes. When the play-doh comes out of the extruder it does not impress, it does not have a well defined shape (other than the thin noodles which are VERY hard to squeeze through the extruder) - it's kinda pointless - what does a kid do with it? Just not worth it. I do not recommend anyone purchase these extruders. Go with Play-Doh brand tools instead; they're more likely to have better tools for their Play-Doh dough.
