Creator Jaime Paglia and his cast say farewell to Syfy's "Eureka," and ponder its cancellation and other topics with a live audience. This Paley Center for Media live event honors "Eureka," Syfy's science fiction series that captivated audiences with its quirky and inventive take on an everyman sheriff of a Pacific Northwest town inhabited by brilliant scientists working on top-secret projects for the U.S. government. Drusilla Moorhouse (Zap2it) moderates the following panelists: series co-creator/executive producer Jaime Paglia; and cast members Joe Morton (Dr. Henry Deacon), Neil Grayston (Dr. Douglas Fargo), Salli Richardson-Whitfield (Dr. Allison Blake), and Colin Ferguson (Sheriff Jack Carter). The panelists touch on such topics as: cancellation; the Global Dynamics set; souvenirs they would take from the show; and time jumps. Questions from the audience then lead to a discussion of the following topics among others: diversity; "Warehouse 13"; Comic-Con; and Saul Rubinek.

A Special Night!
Eureka was my favorite show, so I was really sad to see it cancelled. I had the treat, though, of being in the audience for this event at the Paley Center. The evening began with a screening of the episode called Double Take. That was followed by a sneak peek of the finale. Then came the panel discussion which is included in this video. On stage were Jamie Paglia, Joe Morton, Neil Grayston, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, and Colin Ferguson. Felicia Day and Deborah Farentino were in the audience and said a few words, too. The show was really well represented - several of the writers were also there. In fact, I think they took up the first couple of rows all by themselves!Any fan of the show will be interested to hear them discuss their favorite memories and the events that surrounded the filming of the final episodes. My only complaint was that the evening wasn't long enough. I was hoping for more q&a. Like the show itself, it was over too soon!If you enjoyed Eureka, you'll enjoy this video. Check it out.

Great show!
I wish this were longer and more questions were asked. Each member looked like they had so much more to say. It would have been nice to better understand why the show was cancelled!

Excellent cast.
Loved the series and ALL the characters. Each actor did their roles right. I enjoy seeing how the people are in a casual non-written setting. This interview made me like the actors even more.

I loved the cast but the moderator was not great considering it was the last year of the show. There should have been more thought put into the questions asked. I will always love this show and I am very sad it was cancelled but at least I can watch all the seasons on DVD.
