It provides a long-lasting residual effect for added reassurance and protection. 0.5% w/v Chlorhexidine Gluconate w/v and 70% DEB Chlorhexidine Gluconate 0.5% w/v in DEB 70% v/v Residual Protection - chlorhexidine gluconate provides a persistent and cumulative effective barrier for at least 6 hours. This ensures Hydrex 0.5% keeps killing bacteria long after application for added reassurance. Broad Spectrum Efficacy - chlorhexidine gluconate and 70% denatured ethanol (DEB) are broad spectrum antiseptics and in combination are fast acting and effective against a wide range of both Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria, yeast, fungi and viruses. Licensed by the Medicines and care products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), providing assurance of safety and efficacy. Quick-drying and easy to apply, ideal for skin preparation and disinfection prior to invasive procedures.
