This is an excellent little wool blend rug. It’s very elegant looking and it lays flat even after being rolled up in the packing for ages. It vacuums up well and my one kitty loves it. I am super picky about carpets/rugs, sooo picky, and will definitely buy this again when it’s time. It’s a good purchase.

Just received this rug and it is exactly likeI’d hoped. Lovely addition to my awkward shaped entryway. The cat approves whole-heartedly! Not sure about durability since I just received it, but it is well-made and it appears that it will hold up well.

I have many many SAFAVIEH rugs in my home, including 3 rugs in the same Trace Collection line. I have the largest area rug in my office and bought two runners so I could get complete coverage of the polished concrete in that room.The rugs dampen the sound so there's no echo in calls and because they are wool I have a nice natural sensation and feeling in the room. I also have plants and wood elements as well as real linen curtains to help make it feel more natural and welcoming.What you need to know: the wool is not soft. It is scratchy, especially at first. You'll need to vacuum a few times to remove stray fibers and it may not ever feel great on bare feet. I wear house slippers or socks and it's perfectly fine for that.Over time the fibers do soften and they don't need any special conditioners or treatment. Just some time and regular vacuuming. If you take this simple care for it - a rug like this with natural fibers will last for many many many years.This specific style is very flat - almost like a jute rug - and then has a decorative pattern stitched over the flat rug. There is a plush border. The pattern rises pretty high over the flat base weave of the rug. If you have a chair with wheels or try to slide furniture: it's going to be a battle. So you'll need furniture sliders (very inexpensive) and you'll need a protective chair mat to make it easier for those objects to move on this rug.This specific listing is for the runner and you don't need much for that apart from an appropriate rug pad with a rubber backing to keep it in place.With any area rug on a hard surface you'll need a pad underneath. This enables dirt and other stuff to pass through the rug to prevent deep soiling. It also provides cushion, comfort, sound dampening, and insulation for heating and cooling to be more efficient. For runners you also want a rubber backing to grip the floor. You can use any rug pad brand you like, but I strongly recommend the thicker felt pads over the mesh pads for performance, sound dampening, and protection of the rug.If you put this rug over carpet you can use the mesh pads to prevent them from drifting out of place but I don't think I would recommend this specific style to use over carpet because of its properties.One last thing - like I said I have 3 of this style in different sizes to get full coverage in a single room. The runners came a bit more dark than the area rug. It looks OK but if you are a fussy perfectionist: order them at the same time and compare the colors before deciding whether to keep and install them or return them. Otherwise you may not be able to make a decision about the color and you won't have good options of what to do.I am extremely happy with these rugs!! So don't worry about being satisfied. Mostly I want you to know about the performance of the fiber, the need for sliders and chair mat, and the color.I hope this is helpful.

This rug is absolutely gorgeous but like others have said it is a very pale pink. It is really well-made. It looks really expensive and is a beautiful addition to any room. But very pale pink.

Great color, great quality, very pleased! Arrived in perfect condition, rolled out and already flat in no time!!

1.) the color- I am a pink fanatic, everything I own is pink, with that being said, this rug is clearly pink! It’s a soft pink so it compliments everything in my living room well!2.) it doesn’t wrinkle because of the thickness of the carpet3.) it was a little pricey but it was definitely worth the money

This is a high quality wool rug. Elegantly designed for any room
