I’m really happy with this adapter. It worked straight out of the box with my Windows 11 laptop, with no need to install any drivers, which was a pleasant surprise. I was initially sceptical that USB could reliably drive an HDMI display, but it works perfectly. I’m using it with a Lenovo laptop running Windows 11 and two 21.5-inch Acer 1080p monitors, and it extends the displays perfectly with no issues. A great solution if you need to add extra screens without any complicated setup.

A sleek yet versatile hdmi splitter that is a great addition for any laptop and monitor set up. The ability to switch between USB-A and USB-C allows for a lot of flexibility, especially if your looking to connect other devices to your laptop such as a wireless dongle or an adapter. A few things that hold it back is the fact that it will display to one monitor in 4K, and another in 1080p - which is something I find is quite common with OREI products available in the UK. People should also be aware that you are required to download software to your main laptop in order to use this. It's pretty common practice, especially on higher quality ones, but I can imagine there's a lot of people who may not be aware of that. The connection to the actual laptop is rather short, so if you have the laptop raised it is always sitting in an upwards angle. It's definitely best used when the laptop is sitting flat on the desk, or the splitter is at least sitting on a shelf. But it gets the job done, extending your laptop display to two additional monitors instead of mirroring them. OREI has always been a decent provider of HDMI related products, and the SplitExtend is yet another quality product from them.

Really good, easy and quick to use, and does the job as intended. Bit pricey, but I tried a lot of cheaper alternatives that did not work, so if you want something that works it’s worth the investment. It’s small so doesn’t take a lot of space. I connected two monitors to a laptop so it’s the best solution if your monitors don’t have a display port.

This unit is expensive and not worth the cost. It requires its own software which crashes and resets and you have to wait until it does so until you can see anything on the displays. And then the plug broke so the unit is unusable. Edit: Manufacturer supplied a replacement plug. Stars increased to 3 but I still wouldn't buy again due to the software

I got this so I can use my monitor and projector without having to unplug and plug in as my laptop only has one hdmi socket. Works well i usually have just one on at a time. But it can do both at same time I not sure if it does both at same resolution or not. But it works for me with projector which is 1080p and monitor is 1440p.

I’ve been finding a splitter for my streams since my monitor only has 1 HDMI port and this works amazing! I plugged in my ps 4 into the input and split the output to my monitor + laptop for OBS and it works amazing!!!

It works on my Dell 8930 Desktop. My Dell desktophas only 1 HDMI output and no other display out put so I needed something that allowed 2 extended displays. Just a note: My computer needed the driver installed. If you enter the link, be sure to include the https: before the www as this is a secure website and without the https: it ignores the rest of the link. My Dell is about 10yo updated to Win 11. It still runs well for me. OREI setup was easy. The Dell has 3.1 USB-C ports so all connection worked. Even though I set it up extended under Windows Display settings, when I powered up both displayed were duplicates. but I found I could move apps, etc between displays so I could run different apps on different displays. I am happy with it and it was easier and cheaper than adding a graphic card to my Dell. I don't game so variable or fast refresh rate is not an issue for me. One monitor is 1080P and the other is 4K so this is ideal for me.
