For the price and ease of assembly, it's a winner... The base casters have enough spacing to proved stability, the seat is firm with a little give but, seems to soften as ones body heat improves to comfort. Casters used are all plastic and might sound not so good but, believe me there okay; I know, as having other versions before and each one using metal ball bearings, just crumble to iron filings; Chinese pig metal would expect ? These casters seem good and move with ease, having dual wheels to each roller. However, I would recommend if you are going to use this stool on a carpet, best to get a 3mm PVC Chair Matt or, firmer flooring area not to wear out the carpet area through back and forward movement; otherwise an excellent purchase, so much I ordered another. Highly recommend.

I bought three of these stools for my new Tattoo Studio for each station. As I was working to a budget I thought these were reasonably priced for what I was looking for so took the chance. I'm really pleased with them. The seat, although feels very firm, is actually for me far more comfortable than I first thought, and I haven't had a 'numb bum' in the slightest. I'm glad the cushion is firm though as I've had stools before where they've been quite soft and they start to sag and hurt 'one's derriere' after a long tattoo session! Really easy to assemble, they look smart and not cheap. The base is very sturdy, not as wide as I'd have liked but not once have I experienced any tipping as some people may have reported, and we move around quite a bit when we're working. i must admit I have swapped the original castors on my stool for the roller blade versions, but have rolled around a bit on the original castors on the other stool, and although they feel fine for now, I'm not sure they'll be smooth rolling for years, but I could be wrong.

This item is included along with piano and keyboard stools. I had purchased it for that purpose. Moves too easily for playing. Just passing on my experience. A locking wheel would be beneficial. Not recommended for the above

I bought it to replace a saddle stool I’d got earlier (it seemed a good idea at the time, but soon became very uncomfortable). This is a much better item. It’s comfortable for long periods, though you should still stand up and walk around for a bit every hour. The thick cushioning – 10cm (4 inches) – really helps, though I’ve noticed that it has ‘concertinaed’ after a bit, so might not provide this level of comfort forever. It’s been wonderful so far though. The frame is sturdy but light, so it’s easy to move around. The seat does wobble ever so slightly on the socket on which it sits, but this isn’t really an issue; you feel the pop, rather than notice it move. It adjusts to quite a good height; I’m a small bloke (5’ 6”), but it gets low enough to allow me to put my feet on the floor in a good position, and also accommodates my preference to ‘perch’ on a higher seat when I feel like that. It’s easy to clean, and is reasonably well-finished and smart. A good product overall.

So good amazing work with comforting

Really useful stable little stool and has more height than most of the others which is perfect for my work bench. Looks good too.

I have yet to use this for a considerable amount of time however it seems like the perfect little stool. The hydraulics seem to be good so far and I feel safe on it considering I am on the larger side. The assembly was super fast and easy so all in all I think it’s a good piece of equipment for the cost.
