does it get rid of fleas on dogs?

Maybe the fleas drown in the water, but peppermint oil is shown kill and repel some insects in direct contact. I use this peppermint soap to bathe my dogs before putting on flea treatment to sort of clear the slate. Through the cold months I don't use flea treatment, only bathe with peppermint soap, and they have not had any fleas. It also makes them smell nice for a few days, especially after rolling in something special in the pasture. My Border Collie likes the flavor; it's a bit of a battle to keep her from licking herself before I get it all rinsed off, but she is unharmed by it. I'm hoping she'll fart candy canes, but so far, no luck there. I also use this soap in my horticultural oil/ insecticidal soap recipe. I figure it can't hurt, and may repel the coddling moths that come to lay eggs on my apple trees.

How much... do i use per (full) load of laundry..Havent gotten it yet, so i was wondering, maybe it will be on my gal bottle..right

Laundry: 1/3-1/2 c. of soap for a large load in a normal washer. Add ½ c. vinegar to the rinse cycle. Use half of these amounts for HEHope this helps :)

Has anyone had a problem with this gallon size leaking in transit?

Yes, I have had that problem. Unfortunately it happened twice. It was not the fault of the manufacturer, it was the way the item was packaged by the supplier or by the shipping company. I did finally get my 5 or 6 gallons of Dr. Bronner's soaps in excellent condition. I use Dr. Bonner's to refill our Dollar Store foaming soap pump bottles, clean the walls, floors, dishes and pots and pans and a whole lot of other things.

Is This Antibacterial?

Lisa Bronner wrote an entire article on this.......here is an excerpt: soap and other surfactants, antibacterial agents kill germs, but do not remove them. Saying it another way, they kill but do not clean. Antibacterial hand cleansers or washes may have also contained some soap or detergent that would then remove the dead germs, but they would have removed them anyways. The antibacterial agents were superfluous.

Great product

Its great shaving lotion

I love to use this as my shaving cream. I not only get the smoothest shave but my face feels soft and cool from the peppermint. It moisturizes without feeling oily. I originally bought a small bottle like 2 ounces and it lasted 3 months. I bought the 8 ounce bottle. I’m planning a 3 month international trip next year and I’ll refill and use the small bottle for my entire trip.
