I was trying to find this great smelling lotion from a Maui hotel but sadly discovered that they don't sell it aside from giving it out in the rooms. This is the closest substitute I've found. It's great smelling, although don't expect it to be as moisturizing as Cetaphil or Aveeno. The scent really does last for several hours. My first two orders spilled a little bit in the plastic bag they use, but the third came in perfectly.

Lovely soft scent. It doesn’t linger very long and the lotion wasn’t as moisturizing as I had hoped.

I have contact dermatitis and have had a difficult time finding lotion that smells great, lasts a long time and doesn't make me break out in hives, but Island Soap and Candle is perfect!

I wanted this for Christmas..I have good memories of this scent. It’s a type of Jasmine.

Mild scent. Expected more plumeria scent.

First tried a sample bottle of this while on vacation to the Big Island eight years ago and have been hooked on it and buying it online ever since. It's my primary lotion. I love the scent and the feel of it. It's a lighter lotion that feels really nice. I like this scent better than the straight coconut, which can be a little "chemical" smelling (but not harsh, I still use it). Also the jasmine scent is delightful!

It's a really nice lotion, so I have nothing against the actual product, but just the scent. I was specifically looking for a lotion to only smell like Plumeria, whereas this smells nice, but like an overall tropical flower scent.The price is a little high for what it is, though it's similar to their website price. But it was sold "as is" to me apparently, it came in a bag that said that, so I won't try to return it. I'll still use it, but if you are looking for a strong Plumeria-scented lotion, this isn't it.

Big fan of the product but I think there’s been a slight change in the ingredients and the newest lotion scent isn’t quite as strong

Smells just divine. If you know the brand Spa-ritual and used to live the jasmine smell. Buy this. Smells almost the same if not better! I get compliments all the time. My husbands goes Gaga when I wear it !

I just came back from Hawaii and can remember well the smell of this brand of plumeria scented lotion at the ABC store. I don't know if this was a bad batch, but the bottle I just received through Amazon is terrible. The lotion feels okay, but doesn't smell like plumeria. It has a very light almost savoury/peppery scent. Very disappointed.
