nVent NUHEAT Signature Programmable WiFi Dual-Voltage Floor Heating Thermostat with Touchscreen Interface, Compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant, and IFTTT

Very easy to install with simple and clear instructions. For anyone who's changed a light switch this is only slightly more complicated as it involves a separate sensor line in addition to the typical electrical connections. The line and load markings on the back of the device are clearly marked so pretty tough to miss route wires. The added pre-check, once the installation is complete also provides a good indication if the wiring was done correctly. I like to screen size and quality of the display. The wi-fi set-up was easy and the touch pad helped make entry of the user information a fairly simple task. Once the programs and user preferences are set-up, there's no much more to do. Total time from unboxing to completion was about 1 hour but I took my time, particularly during the wiring phase. After 2-minutes of non-use the display goes into a dim mode and the information is simplified to show time/date/floor temp and weather. I wish the dim mode was less bright but that's probably just something I'll get use to over time. Also, I wish these units lasted longer. My last NuHeat Solo thermostat lasted about 7-years and replaced one before that also died after about 5-years. So don't expect this to last forever which is too bad considering the cost. Lastly, the app is very simple with very little customization but in a pinch it will allow you to adjust the temperature and that's about it. Would be nice if the app also allowed for the unit to be switched off remotely which would be handy while on vacation or out of town. Kind of a basic safety feature too.

This replaced my original thermostat, which was not connected to the internet.This was easy to hook up, and the app worked as advertised.I can contol it with alexa and my hubitat.The only issue I have is that it holds until the next scheduled change and not 1 hour (unless I remind it that 1 hour is the default hold). It is probably user error.I can heat my floor before I get out of bed from my phone.

Installed this to control quitewarmth raident floor and has been working like a dream. Wish I had found this thermostat before initially buying the quietwarmth brand, which had many unfixable bugs.This thermostat works well and easily connects to wifi. There is also a companion Nuheat app that works well.

In-floor electrical heating is not my favorite. We had a collection of OJ Microline older thermostats, so I tried this one out... The user interface is much easier than anything else I've seen.4 month (Feb 2022) Update:Wifi is stable. iOS app is average, but lets me change temps which is what I want. Programming is simple. It doesn't capture energy consumption data well in the app, and the report both in app and on the unit is not great, but it's better than anything older I've seen. Best thermostat I've seen so far for high-voltage in floor heating, I'd love to find something better... but I'll buy more of these in the meantime.Old original:I intend to test the IFTTT capabilities soon, I'll update then. For now, even if I only use the UI, I much prefer this unit to anything else I've tried. Not sure if that UI alone justifies the cost, but... I'm hoping the wifi/automation works well also.

First, it is a solid product, it’s not bad. Wi-Fi is fine, hasn’t disconnected yet after 4 months. It does what it’s supposed to.Ok, then why only 3 stars you may ask? The iOS interface is about 10 years out of date, it’s a bit hard to operate on the phone, there isn’t any easy way to program it, it just feels way too dated.If you got this thinking you’d IFTTT to your smart home set up, well you’ll be disappointed. BUT if you are upgrading your 20 year old thermostat, then this thing is perfect.

I bought this to update our system so we could schedule and monitor via the app and Google Home. Works great and was easy to install.

The fit and finish on this thermostat is much better that the other ones I have seen. We also have a Suntouch. The nVent one has a much cleaner looking bezel and the touch surface seems to be either glass or polycarbonate which give a much more premium feel that the plastic Suntouch thermostat. The nVent also allows a higher max temperature of the floor heat.

Great product that's easy to install if your electric wiring is correct.
