my daughter tried her hand at sushi and rocked it.We now eat maki sushi (cooked sushi) way cheaper than restaurants/sams/costco.she makes amazing sushi rolls with this set.she uses nova scotia salmon lox,or tuna from the can, or even Imation crab or cooked diced shrimp or a combo of all the above. we use cucumber/carrot/rice/sesame seeds and some avocado. she makes it awesome. tops it with spicy mayo and its just magic. We get the nori sheets from the health food store. would recommend if you love sushi but not the prices to buy. you really can make it much cheaper at home. we eat sushi now once a month. and for the cost that we used to pay to buy it out...we can get two meals for 3 people with left overs the next day for lunch. really do recommend!

I was so excited to finally start making sushi myself! I often find myself spending around $200 a month on sushi, sometimes more if I really have a craving for it. I decided to try and make it myself to help save money, especially since the gas prices are so high, my nearest sushi place is 20 minutes away, then I would spend $30-40 on sushi! 🤦🏽‍♀️ I live in a dorm and this kit is easy to store. I watched a few YouTube videos on different sushi recipes and I plan on inviting friends over for a sushi night. I couldn’t be more happy about my purchase!

This is a very nice sushi making set -- it came in a very attractive package and definitely would make a nice gift for someone interested in trying new things.

Bout this a while ago and forgot everything that came with it. I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality and contents. Perfect for beginners!! Knife is surprisingly sharp too!

This is by far the best sushi kit for beginners like myself. Not the first sushi kit that I've ordered on Amazon but the one that I will be using the most going forward. The knife is very sharp and works very well for cutting California rolls. The key to cutting a roll with no seaweed/nori is to wrap the roll in saran wrap first and then cut. Completely satisfied.

The knife is a good size and cuts the roll perfectly. The paddle and the spreader are also great. I was glad I ordered it
