I think that this was a good starter kit. I liked that the yarn was 100% organic cotton because this is more environmentally friendly and it didn’t split nearly as much as some yarn that I’ve tried since. The video links were very helpful and good at showing the beginner techniques, although it took me a while to figure out that they were printed on the bag and not on a piece of paper in the bag. The needles were good for learning but the one thing that was disappointing was that I was hoping to be able to reuse the needles on other projects with more yarn. However, because the needles are so short, theyre not big enough to knit anything other than wash cloths. So if you continue knitting, you’ll probably need to invest in more needles.

I originally bought this product to give me some extra supplies as a beginner knitter. The knitting needle are small but pretty inviting for beginners. The yarn was the worst part. Although it come in nice solid colors, it comes apart like crazy! I couldn’t even finish a whole row without giving up. I ended up buying new yarn and longer needles. Just not for me

I purchased 2 of these “Begin to Knit Sets.” Tropical & Zen. The yarn is very beautiful in color and softness. The yarn is the correct size for a beginner project such as a knitted dishcloth. The circular needle included, is smooth & well made is & the correct size for the yarn weight. A circular needles is perfect for beginner knitters, as trying to learn how to hold the needles is half the battle!! Again a dishcloth would be perfect first project. Your Purchase includes FREE online patterns (their online site is marked on the very nice ziplock bag that items arrive in- which will make a great carry case for your project). Included too is a large needle to sew in the yarn tails from your finished project. Ravelry is an online knitting site that offers free one ball knit patterns and free tutorials! As a male, i wanted to try something i would never do. So i bought this to learn new skills. I felt stupid because it was my first time trying but i am having a relaxing fun time with this package. My new goal is to make a scarf for myself! If i finish making hand towel first through lol

Do you really need instructions? For a beginner this should be a high priority. Paper instructions in addition to “scan me for tutorials” is a must. Also, the Amazon shipping label completely covers the QWERTY. It cannot be scanned. Residue after being peeled back still obstructs scanning.

First time buying yarn and HOLY did I ever get a reality check when I was in a local sewing store. This stuff is way over priced. Won’t buy again. Also the tutorial is through their website… I thought I was gonna get a little book

Ce produit m'aiderait pour apprendre é tricoter, mais voilà il n'y a aucun mode d'emploi comment faire, alors lalaine et les aiguilles ne me servent à rien. Si on mentionne Débutant c'est qu'on a besoin d'explication pour commencer "faire les mailles etc.." Non??

Très doux au toucher, mais j'ai pas reçu les bonnes couleurs tel qu'indiqué sur la photo et je n'ai pas reçu les aiguilles à tricoter comme nous pouvons voir sur la photo. Donc seulement 4 balles de laine c'est un peu décevant.

Me gusta el hilo, tiene un tacto muy suave. Los colores son muy veraniegos, y ese contraste me gusta. No me gusta que las instrucciones para principiante te las tengas que descargar en su web. Podria ser mas accesible para la gente que no tenga acceso a su web puesto que este producto se puede regalar y no se llevaria a cabo la finalidad si es que tiene que descargar los tutoriales.
