I've been using Ram Mount Products for about 10 years. They work great, are easy to use, and hold my large electronics (fish finders) securely even in rough/choppy water. I wouldn't keep purchasing an item if it didn't work.

I can’t say enough good things about RAM Mounts, especially this RAM-201U Double Socket Arm. I use it to secure my mini Starlink for off-grid Wi-Fi and my camera rig when I’m capturing content for my YouTube channel. The grip? Unshakable. The adjustability? Chef’s kiss. 🍳👌 I’ve mixed and matched it with other RAM pieces, and the modular design lets me dial in the perfect setup every time. These things are built like tanks, and they give me the confidence to focus on the adventure—not worrying about gear toppling over. Works well for livescope transducer pole. I'm always impressed with how rigid these are. A size D system would be great for a transducer pole, but as far as I can tell, it's not currently an option. The extra stability from the 2.25" ball would be nice. Make sure you check and double check the length needed for your application. Some listed measurements are the length between balls, others are total arm length.

All of the RAM mounts stuff is great, this included. His things very secure, easy to operate.

Very strong; great stablility. Quite heavy at 1lb-10oz. I bought this size at the recommendation of Ram Mount since it goes in my 4Runner and I use it off road. I think the 1-inch size would have been sufficient to hold the iPad; this size is a bit much. Rated it down only because of the weight. Like other Ram Mount products, it is strong, functions well, and it's well-made.

This is a good sturdy size for tablet mounting. Feels to be of high quality. I'm not afraid it will break. I'm using a pair of these with a two-ball c size joint. I have to loosen the knob a little to pivot the tablet at all, but this is completely sturdy and feels reliable.

What I like about this brand/product. Is that its not made cheap. I work on traffic lights so I am in my vehicle alot. I use this brand to hold my phone to the window with a suction cup. And use this brand to hold my laptop on a stand from the floor. It holds devices firmly, but easy to get out by hand. I have used the same set up for my phone for about 2 years.
