Very nice high quality Goody hairbrush. Be aware that the bristles are soft. I’m just a normal guy with normal length hair and this brush is not firm enough to penetrate through my hair to move it fully into place. Rather it very gently sort of pushes it around. Perhaps if I intended to brush fifty stokes it would eventually work its way down to the scalp. This very nice brush could be ideal for people that have thinning hair loss or young children with minimal hair. I gave mine to my grandchild and now I’m aware that I must shop for ‘firm bristles’.

Goofy Smoothing Hairbrush brings a great balance between firmness and comfort. Giving my opinion, bristles are firm enough to brush through strands during a blow‑dry or when working with extended hair, helping smooth and control the hair without pulling. At the same time, they’re soft enough on the scalp, so brushing feels comfortable with no harsh or scratchy sensation. It glides smoothly from root to ends and leaves the hair looking more polished and well‑groomed. Overall, this is a well‑made brush that works effectively while still being gentle on the scalp. I’m very happy with the performance.

Very high quality hair brush. It works on my hair type (which is around a 2A-B), and I’ve heard that similar brushes slick and don’t tug at 4A hair. Highly recommend!!

Lighter and smaller than I expected, but it works well for what I need. Since I just got it, I can’t speak to durability yet, though I don’t anticipate issues; the brush feels solid enough for regular use. The bristles are softer than I imagined, but that’s actually a plus because I wanted something that could gather my hair without pulling it. The dark brown color looks great, and I appreciate the simple design. Packaging was secure on arrival, which was a nice detail.

Got this for my daughter for doing slick back ponytails. This is softer than the typical brush like this and we love it. The handle and head of the brush are perfect size. My husband used it and likes it better than his regular brush. It works well for my daughter's ponytails and my husband's styled side part. We will definitely purchase again!

it’s a great brush but not a hard bristle one if that’s what you’re looking for. Best for smoothing hair down. Would be great for thinner hair and doing any type of slick back. (i have 4b/c). Good material and super light weight!

I have mixed girls with mixed kid curly hair. It’s gorgeous, but I was so new to learning what works and what doesn’t. This brush has been great for smoothing frizzy hair back. Made sturdy and well. Great brush!

Please do not buy this brush! The bristles are all fell out while opening the package!

A lot of the Bristles fell off. Just from first use, had to sweep up a lot of the bristles. Rendering the brush with partial bare areas.

Love this brush. I have had one for years to smooth out my pony tails and bring hair tight to the scalp for a clean smooth look. Now I use it for my daughter hair. We lost our brush and I went out to find another reasonable priced boar hair brush. No such thing. All the boar hair brushes were $30+. This was in my price range. And I am very familiar with it. Goody is hard to find anymore in my area. Have never looked into it. But love the this particular brush.

A very nice hairbrush with soft, natural bristles, ideal for popping into a handbag or when travelling. The timber is well-finished with a very attractive deep reddish-brown stain. After having a couple of natural bristle brushes for decades which are still in use, I can vouch they're a far superior product to nylon, plastic or bamboo. Soft on the hair and easy on your scalp, you can brush without pain and frizz. When they finally reach the end of their useful life, they'll be fully compostable ... no plastic here! Something to consider when buying.
