This iron didn't preform like I thought UT would. There is no temperature control on it so if you are looking for that this is not for you. If you are working on tiny pcb projects it will do fine. But if you are working on any kind of game console or computer boards or anything with a little size to it this iron is not going to do it. If you are working on boards for a drone or a power bank or something along those lines it will do fine. You have to have it in a wall outlet or it will not work at all.

I got this so that I would be able to repair drones while away from all my home stuff. As it turned out, I had a power outage recently and wanted to replace a bad motor. At first, I thought it wasn't going to melt the solder blob, and eventually gave up and let go of the button. As it turns out, it's a latching soft on/off button, and letting go of it let it get warmed up. I was surprised that it melted the solder on contact, like my full-sized station, but the tip is so small that it's actually quite agile for the dense connections on drones.

good portable iron, but for small jobs only. The quality is kinda cheap, but for the price not too bad. I built 2 mechanical keyboards with it and it was fine, it also cleans easily.

Very handy

My only complaint is the power cord could be longer. Other than that the product is great for small projects.

Solder turns cold on the iron as its melting. Never seen anything like it, its too cold to solder joint, but just hot enough to melt solder wire onto the tip. + Looked used when it came
