Very easy to put up. I have an enclosed balcony that gets a lot of sun in the afternoon. Hope this works! It’s just double sided Velcro with a thin piece of material. Could have saved a lot of money making it myself.

Our entry door in our new home gets straight on afternoon sun. I've never had to deal with side lights before and I quickly realized they needed covered. Not only for privacy, but because the heat made our HVAC overwork itself. I tried frosted privacy film and that was a nice look. However, it did not cut down the heat. So I bought these to use in conjunction with the film. It is the PERFECT combo. The included photo was taken around 6 PM, right after installation, when the sun is straight on the windows. It completely blocks the light and drastically cuts the heat coming in. Wonderful product and great quality. The material is thick, but light, so I've had no issues with adhesion. The sticky tape is quite sticky and I imagine it may strip some paint if I ever take these down permanently. However, that is a very small price to pay for a product that truly works and helps maintain the comfort in my home.

The adhesive on the strips is poor quality when used in sun-exposed areas--glue got brittle and let go of both the hook n' loop strips and the mounting surface after about six months. Since the adhesive let go of both the surface and the strip, I bought double-sided mounting tape and re-used the hook n' loop strips and the curtains. The curtains look fine, and I like that I can strap the length of the curtain underneath the valance.

These are nice. They aren’t luxurious but nice. They work for me and my doors, perfectly! The Velcro works well and they are very soft and simple. Love them!

Edit: unfortunately after a month sticky tape peeled off on both curtains. So it will be necessary to install a curtain rod now, which exactly what I tried to avoid. Good that this design has an ability to be hang with the curtain rod, but if I knew these curtains wouldn't work without it, I would have bought different curtains.Pleasantly surprised by the quality and looks. Good idea to include both sticky tape install option and also ability to use a curtain rod on the other side. It was easy to create a folded look by folding a sticky tape little bit. I installed tape on a plastic blinds base, not on a wall, worrying that it may peel the paint off. Holding well, looking nice.

These curtains worked perfectly for my need. I only wish I had found them months ago. I got black and they are thick and not see through. Great purchase!
