The love of my new-to-mommyhood life
I have an incredibly cuddly baby who is just a few months old and I love the bonding opportunity the Moby gives us! This is the perfect accessory for parents who want to get a little grocery shopping or housework done but like to keep their little one close. Learning to tie the Moby is a breeze. I'd recommend looking at a photographic tutorial rather than reading one... It's much easier than it sounds! The baby is genuinely very secure. I started wearing our little girl when she was only a couple of weeks old. Having tried a sling carrier and a Moby, I feel there is NO comparison to how secure and confident I feel with my daughter in the Moby carrier. It's portable! So easy to fold (or let's be honest... wad up) the Moby and toss it in the diaper bag before heading out for the day. To be so long, it's surprisingly compact. Anybody can use it. Since it's just a long, stretchy cloth, my husband and I can easily share the amazing experience of doing every day life with our sweet girl coming along for the ride. There are no irritating sizes to sort through or buckles to figure out. It's a one size fits all cuddling system ;) Look up the health benefits of "baby-wearing" as well... Our little girl has been an absolute dream when it comes to fussiness and sleeping at night, and I have to say that I think the skin on skin contact during the day has heavily contributed to her sweet disposition!

Love the material
I read most of the reviews before I purchased this product. After using the wrap several times for my 2 month old, I rate it 5 stars. I love the material, it is easy to use, comfortable, and my baby likes it. Before I bought it, I was using a Baby Bjorn - but it only offers 2 carry positions for my little one, and she is too small for one of them. I also had been using an Infantino sling (hated it, hated it, hated it). I was looking for something that gave me more body surface contact with my baby and offered more positions, and was comfortable to wear. The Moby wrap fulfills all of these needs for me. I think it is way more comfortable than my Baby Bjorn - although it does take slightly longer to assemble. I have to disagree with people who thought that it is hard to use - just read the first two pages of the instruction manual - the rest is pretty instinctual. Once you have the basic wrap pattern down, you can figure out tons of ways to use it for your baby. I haven't washed it yet, and I am a little nervous about how it will retain its color and shape when I do. I am very satisfied with my purchase and hope to be using this product for a long time to come!

I live in this.
This wrap is amazing. It has grown with my baby. Unlike lots of other carriers, it accommodates newborns without any special insert. My baby really liked being snuggled right up to my chest. When we're going outside, I can just zip up a fleece over this and put a hat on him, without having to bundle him up lots (unless it's very cold); my body heat keeps him warm. When he was first born my baby had a heck of a time getting to sleep. Then he would get cranky and wail and shriek. The only thing that really worked for me was to put him in the Moby and walk around while singing to him. If he was particularly unhappy, we would use the Moby to do prolonged skin to skin. Once he fell asleep, I could do laundry, housekeeping, pay bills, surf the internet, etc., all while he was asleep on my chest. It was really a godsend. Another great aspect of the Moby over other carriers is that my husband and I can use the same one because it's not size specific. We have a few other carriers ( we bought several for trial and error) and either they're the wrong size for one of us or have to be readjusted when the other person uses it. It's a PITA. With this, we both use it, and we bring it with us whenever we travel. Highly recommend. UPDATE: July 2015. After using Moby Wraps for several years with two kids, I still love this. It's a bit more difficult with older kids, and I've used other carriers after the kids have turned one, but this is more than worth the investment for the first year. I usually use it as a gift for a baby shower.

We love this wrap!
I think that the Moby is probably one of the best products ever thought up for babies!! My daughter loves it and can sit in it for hours, snuggles up and falls asleep. I purchased a sling first and was very disappointed in it, the baby was all scrunched up and I am not sure how anyone would be able to wear it for long periods of time b/c it seemed to get heavy! I saw a woman in wal-mart wearing the Moby and asked her about it and she gave it rave reviews. Went home and ordered it and am amazed how I love it too!! I now get people walking up to me asking what it is and where they can get one! The reason I do not feel I can give it a 5 is that as for me it is pretty easy to get on my husband wont use it because he said it is too hard to figure out/wrap and the material is really long and he thinks it is just inconvenient. The cost is around the same for other products which isn't too much of a concern other than I honestly do feel that I could buy the Jersey Material at a fabric store and make it myself which I intend on doing so that I can have more colors and save a bundle!! But the concept is Amazing and I definitely recommend it!

Comfortable, Easy to store, Baby is comfortable in it
We bought this for our infant before she was born. We waited until she was 8 lbs to start trying to use this. At first, it takes a little bit to figure this wrap out, but it is extremely useful. Our baby is 3 months old now, and she seems to enjoy this wrap. She will usually sleep on either my wife or I when we wrap her. It's really easy to throw this wrap in the diaper bag, stroller, etc. It travels really well. There are many different ways you can wrap your baby up. We found a way that seems to work best for us right now, and it holds our baby in a really good ergonomic position. Our baby is very secure in this wrap as well. The only cons for this product are: -Baby & parent can get warm in the wrap -Wrapping without a helper can be more challenging The pros for this wrap: -Many different ways to wrap your child -Very comfortable and supportive -Easy to travel with -Easy to wash -Ergonomic carry positions for baby -Can be very supportive for baby -Can be used over a wide weight & age range We love our Moby Wrap!

Difficult to put on
I really wanted to like this wrap but it really is a pain to put on. It's not difficult or complicated, once you practice, it is just that the wrap is soooo long. Once you get it on, it is very secure for the baby and can hold babies of different sizes. My newborn fit in here as well as my 18 month old niece. The best part is that you can nurse your baby hands free! The only reason this doesn't get more stars is that it is a pain to put on, very heavy and bulky to put in a diaper bag, and hot in the summer months. Pros: - Handsfree baby wearing - Very secure, you can even bend over without worrying about dropping the baby, I can't really do this with my bjorn carrier - Many different positions - Great for handsfree nursing Cons: - Hot in the summer months - Difficult to put on (if you are going somewhere in the car, you need to put this on before you go or you will drag it all over the parking lot - Too heavy and bulky to carry in a diaper bag Bottom line, I would buy this again, but I also recommend a ring sling for quick secure carrying.

Must have for babies!
I started using my Moby Wrap about 2 weeks after my son was born. I am not sure why I didn't start using it sooner! My son liked to be held a lot and in order to get things done around the house, I started wrapping him up against me. He would sleep or just look around whatever we were doing. I started wearing him out more, too. It was great to wear him while going for a walk or even in the grocery store. I didn't have to worry about him crying for me from his car seat in the cart. Plus, I felt better about having him right against me. This way I could really look around at stuff and I didn't have to worry about strangers trying to touch him. And what baby doesn't love close contact with their parents? I wore him in just about every configuration there is and he did great in it for over a year. The wrap is very easy to use once you get it on once or twice. It holds up great, even after extended use. While I would use a ring sling for very quick trips, it was nice to have this for extended trips or walks because of the even weight distribution on your shoulders, especially when they get to be about 25+ pounds. Plus, there are no straps to adjust for people of differing height and weight to wear the baby, so it's easy for your spouse to use (or any other caregiver). I love the Moby Wrap so much that I bought a second one in a different color when my son was about 9 months old, just to switch it up :) They are both in great shape that I will be using them with my second child on the way. This time I will start using it even sooner.

Lifesaver!!!
Wow this item is such a lifesaver! My fussy little 3 month old will fall asleep within a minute of being wrapped in this! Although he fusses like no tomorrow when I put him down getting this wrap set up and then putting him in but the second he's all set up and in here he's a happy baby which means happy mommy! I even taught my mom how to wrap for when I go back to work and she has to watch him. Honestly wish I got this when he was first born would have saved me lots of sleep and got more things done and now I have to go back to work in a few days 😭 TotAlly recommend this product!! I am 5'0" and this fits well around me and doesn't drAg on the floor only while setting it up as I have to be next to a bed or couch when setting up the wrap on me before putting in baby so it doesn't hit the floor. I even wear it to sleep so that if he wakes up crying and can't go to sleep I can just slip this right on and sway him in this and he'll fall right to sleep after giving him a bottle and burping him. (As shown in photo at mid of the night and I put him in and he fell right to sleep. )Was hard at first taking off to put him back in the crib but I've now got the hang of putting him in without waking up. think anyone with a newborn should totally get this as my baby is getting a lil heavier will switch to ergo that I have in a few months because of my back as my son is now over 14 pounds😬 Hope this review helps

utile e comoda, ottimo tessuto

Supportive
This is the best wrap I've purchased! I have a few other "high end" wraps and this is by far the most comfortable and most supportive for baby. I have a horrible lower back and this supports baby so well that it has been helping with my back. Baby is nice and snug. I only wish I had this when she was a newborn. She is 2 months old now but will definitely be using this for future babies as newborns. Supports new baby's head very well.

Not to be confused with a straight jacket.
I got all excited when my wife put this on… I thought “finally, she’s in a straight jacket!!” Turns out she’d just found a clever way to carry our baby comfortably. Pro tip: Be carefully saying the straight jacket thing out loud… it actually frees up her arms to slap you!! Seems to work a treat for the baby carrying though.
