this light is a RIPPER!!!
First off I am a flashaholic, and I own the best olight, eagletac, fenix, nitecore, thrunite, etc. This low budget flashlight can go head to head with the best I mean it says 2000 lumens it's pretty dam close for a low budget flashlight, this flashlight has some super amazing throw and brightness, and please note it does not come with an 18650 battery which is a rechargeable, so just get freaking battery and buy this flashlight and you'll see for yourself how kick-ass this light is!! Update.... This flashlight is a serious powerhouse for 20 dollars, I'm really impressed with it, the flashlight performs like a champ, I use the best batteries which are Panasonic 18650 3400 mah and it shines like a champ and last long, I would definitely recommend this flashlight, it's got some serious booty for a low budget flashlight! I forgot to mention, this flashlight also runs on two cr123 batteries and 16340 rechargeables!

I own many lights the high dollar ones down to the cheapos this is a high dollar feeling light at a cheap price it throws a superb beam and has plenty of kick . This light throws a beam about 500 ft and it turns the area to daylight . I compared it to another bargain light the cree 3 T6 bulb light trustfire and its over rated lumens supposedly 3800 lumens and uses 3 batteries. The forrander C12 definately is more powerful and uses one battery the 18650 and throws a spot beam .*** ONE VERY Important thing order it from the company Deserve USA it will arrive fast if you live here in the USA. On the otherhand if you order it elsewhere like I did accidently on my second order for a Christmas present-By the way it's still not here I ordered it on Dec 15th I will have to wait a month or more for it to arrive from China estimate arrival Jan 22 snail mail Chinese torture ! I am a UPS driver and this is my go to light for finding numbers and disorienting dogs :-) The Deserve USA light they got 1 pre order and 1 last minute order here to me in 3 days . SO THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT" look before you" Click and order unless you like to be tortured months to receive an order.

Good value for price, great beam throw, seems to be legitimate CREE XM-L2 bulb ~800/900 lm, but built quality is only so/so.
Great beam throw on par with Upgraded ThorFire C8s LED light that is my favorite light ever (but the ThorFire is about $10 more expensive) ThorFire Upgraded C8s LED Flashlight Powerful 900 Lumens CREE XM-L2 Torch with 5 Modes Using 18650 Battery( Not Included).Unlike many other cheap LED's, however, this Forrader ACTUALLY appears to be legitimate XM-L2 bulb and is probably about 800 or 900 lumens (versus another knock-off C8 LED that claimed 1300 lumens but was probably more like 150). It's a little longer than a C8s flashlight due to the extra heat-sink fins.I gave it 4 stars because compared to the ThorFire C8 light, the build quality is not as good. Not terrible build-quality, mind you, just probably about 3 star instead of 5 star quality like on the ThorFire. This Forrader has a painted finish, instead of anodized finish like on the ThorFire. The threads are kinda temperamental and cheap feeling instead of nice and solid like on the ThorFire. The very center spot beam itself isn't quite as crisply circle as the ThorFire (more oval shape and fuzzy edges) and the light I received had some sort of aberration on the lens (I think it's the lens of the LED itself not the glass at the end of the light) causing a faint artifact to appear in the corner of the spot beam. But it is just about as bright and throws as well as the 900 lumen ThorFire and is about $10 cheaper than the ThorFire. The switch DOES have memory, but unlike the ThorFire includes a useless (IMO) full-powered SOS mode that must be cycled through to get to the other modes. (Think about it: you're stranded in the middle of nowhere and want the SOS to shine all night long while you're sleeping, except being that the SOS mode is full-power and will probably only last a few hours before being completely dead. Now you're still stranded AND without a flashlight for the duration of your survival adventure... forget that, I'd rather light a fire haha). Also the strobe light is one of the normal cycles that must be clicked through instead of a very useful and quick double-click like on the ThorFire. The double-click strobe on the ThorFire allows you to instantly access strobe mode no matter what mode you were previously on. Additionally, when trying to just cycle through normally to get to a different mode, on the ThorFire you don't have to blind yourself with a full-power strobe like you do on this Forrader. But overall, for the price this Forrader C12 is a well performing LED light. If the beam itself is all you're concerned about, this light might even be a better value than the ThorFire. But if you're looking for a solidly-built tactical light (with better clicking modes) and are willing to pay just a little bit more, I recommend the ThorFire.

This is a nice and bright flashlight
This is a nice and bright flashlight. Really good beam for the money. However it only gets 3 stars because every time you turn it on, it goes to the next light type in the sequence. If you had it on the brightest setting, next time it'll be dim, and the next time it'll be strobing. So annoying having to hit the button multiple times every time you want a light.I'm really fed up with how every flashlight has to be a "tacticool" light. Who is ever going to really need a strobe or sos? Just give me a simple light that turns on and off!

Super Light - Super Bright
Compared to a Maglight 2 D cell LED flashlight, this little guy is far superior. I live in the mountains of Western North Carolina and our land is a home for Bob Cats, Foxes, and other critters. When I take our dog out at night, I like to scan the perimeter to insure there are none in waiting. This light will flood the entire valley and deep woods with a light as bright as a car headlight. It is small enough to slip into my jacket pocket when I need to open doors etc. The construction is a very rugged design of machined aluminum. It does not come with batteries so you will need the Outlite charger 18650 charger that comes with 2 batteries. You will need an extra battery because life is limited and you need a standby while recharging. It has a dimming feature as well as flashing mode and SOS signal which would be useful for camping or back packing.
