Cold Shoe Adapter for DJI Osmo Mobile SE 7P OM6 & OM4 OM5 & OM3 DJI Osmo Mobile SE 7P 3 4 5 6 Accessories,Applied to Microphone and LED Light Accessory Via 2 Rotatable Cold Shoe Mounts

I was excited to get and use this adapter mount on my new DJI Osmo Mobile 4 / OM4. The photos and description showed a quality all metal product - and on arrival it was just that - if not even better / more sturdy. Unfortunately, on trying to use it I was (extremely) disappointed to find that it did not properly fit the DJI Osmo Mobile 4 / OM4. The manufacturer's description currently states "All parts are machined accurately out of metal, so it is sturdy and can hold a lot of weight, because it wraps around the Osmo mobile 3's handle like a ring, you can always install it on your Osmo mobile 3 without having to install it every time you use it." I'm assuming that it is custom-shaped for the DJI Osmo Mobile 3, since it almost (but not quite) wraps around the handle of the OM4. The red locking wing nut could only barely clam on at the loosest thread, and the other end blocks the OM4 from properly closing and locking into place for transport. Again, this looks and feels like a quality accessory for the OSMO....3. If I had an OM3 (and assuming it fits the way they say) I would rate it 5/5. The description should be updated to more clearly indicate that while it is compatible with the OM4 you can only really leave it on full time with the OM3. As it is, I have to rate it lower just because it is marketed as a solution for both the OM3 and OM4. I would also encourage the manufacturer to come up with a version made for the OM4 that is shaped properly (and perhaps has an off-side hinge so you could actually fully close the OM4 for transport). If they did this, it would be a 5/5 product and I'd be the first in line for it.

The adapter fits and it works. My wife may think I am crazy, but having everything together makes things a lot easier.

I saw some mixed reviews out there for this, and for what it is, what it does, it does what you'd want it to do. I take the red screw on top off when I am putting it on, it's just easier. It holds your small filming lights and external microphones well. The real issue is with the Osmo itself. The size and balance make attaching microphones tricky, to say the least. I'd advise being careful of the Osomo, it's delicate. This is a metal adapter and is well built. It's scary the first time putting it on, but it really helps, there's a little padding to protect the handle, but I wouldn't leave it on for a long time. I have yet to damage my Osomo and I, TODAY dropped it with my new Note 20 Ultra (without the phone case), and everything it fine still. TLDR: If you film, have the Osomo Mobile 3, want to add some lighting to it, get this. You'll be mostly happy.

Ha! Amazon wants me to review this like it’s a shoe you wear. It’s what I needed for holding a external mic. A little snug, but if you work it around a little you will find the sweet spot for mounting it.

Yes, it *DOES* fit DJI OM4!! I almost made the mistake a few others made here and returned this with a one star (oops!). You have to unscrew the red wing nut pretty far (be careful it will fall off), but you can secure it very easily to the newest Osmo gimbal (OM4). I'm being careful not to overtighten, but inside the ring is a cushy foam layer that should protect my baby. This is very well made, solid but light weight. I'm using a wired microphone that does not appear to be affecting movement of or putting extra weight on the gimbal. I'll update my review if my opinion on that changes.

Great quality and can work for what your looking for but we found in just over a month we outgrew it and had no use for it anymore. Nice product but I would suggest buying a alternative solution.

Does exactly what it is suppose to do, let’s you add an external mic or light or whatever to the Gimble. I actually think it makes the gimble a little bit easier to hold and I just leave it on even when I’m not using any accessories. You cannot completely fold the Osmo up though if you Just leave it on line I do. It still folds, just not completely.

Encaja bastante bien en un OSMO mobile 6, pero creo que es más indicado para el uso con trípode. Si se va a usar en modo gimbal en movimiento resulta incómodo mantener el agarre puesto que el adaptador está justo en el medio de la parte donde se agarra el gimbal. Si el uso es exclusivo para fotograía o toma de vídeos "estáticos" con tripode entonces es un adaptador muy bueno.

FIT PERFECTLY ON MY DJI OSMO MOBILE 3

Raramente scrivo recensioni di prodotto ma questo articolo credo sia meritevole di una recensione più che positiva. Prodotto solido, ben rifinito e con componentistica ottima. Testato su OM4 si adatta alla perfezione senza alcun tipo di gioco e con massima stabilità. Qualcuno ha scritto che limita un po’ lo spazio di utilizzo dei tasti del gimball, concordo pienamente ma questo non rende assolutamente inutilizzabile il gimball ma semplicemente un filo meno pratico rispetto all’utilizzo nativo. Bisogna considerare però che questo piccolo “fastidio” permette di poter applicare delle luci e/o un microfono esterno con tutti i vantaggi del caso. Peraltro posizionando la chiusura sul fronte del gimball l’imepdimento diminuisce drasticamente. Nel mio specifico caso la cosa non mi ostacola in alcun modo perché utilizzo il gimball con una prolunga in carbonio e ho tratto solo vantaggi da questo articolo. Altresì vero che chi si interessa a questo tipo di articolo cerca un utilizzo più “professionale” del gimball ed è disposto a far fronte a questo compromesso. Riassumendo un prodotto di qualità che potrebbe rientrare nella gamma di accessori della casa madre gimball (sia per fattura e per qualità dei materiali) e che probabilmente sarebbe venduto a 5x il prezzo che costa.
