Really an incredible book with a funny flaw on the back cover.
This isn’t a review of the book nor is it a complaint in anyway. I was rereading the back cover today and saw the year of publication for the Metamorphosis was 1815. Later in the same paragraph it said Kafka “died in 1924 at the age of 40.” I thought to myself, “Wait he wrote this in 1815, but died in 1924 at the age of 40? Is my math off?” But it’s was just a simple typo, not sure if anyone else noticed it but I thought I’d share.

Oddly charming
Originally didn't like it. It's a sad, short, old, book, but if you're a fan of literary analysis. This is a very good book to read. The deeper you look. The more themes you can find. It took me a while to appreciate it.

I first read this book when I was 19 years old. It is a reread and 45 years later i still enjoyed reading it again.

Good for starters
Amazing philosophy book that goes into the aspect of capitalism and how family are used as financial gain. Also shows the inhumanity we have towards creatures. Great book from Kafka

Interesting
This classic story gets dissected in every college lit class across the country for a reason. It's interesting, complex, and very, very strange. The story is often linked to the ideas of psychological greats like Freud and Jung -- appropriate given his location -- and to the modern literature movement. It's grotesque, almost horror, and moves at a rapid pace that can keep even a student's interest.

Could not finish this book
I am an avid reader, particularly of the classics. This book is way out of its league of it’s on any greatest books list. Despite it being very short, I had to set it down midway through. It was absolutely void of substance. I’d rather read a Dr. Suess book.

Weird
My father, was telling me that it's very amazing book and that Kafka is very good, but this book hasn't got any logic, and the ending also, it looks like Kafka was writing this book and suddenly he stopped

Preposterous! This is like Google Translate!
Completely unreadable! It looks like Google Translate was just pasted there! I'd be better off reading in German! DON'T BUY IT!
