Great sweetener
It works great for sweetening frozen smoothie pops. Our seven month old great grandson loves them.

V good flavour
Pros: Flavor taste delivers creamy tropical sweetness. Powder texture blends well into smoothies. Bulk size offers excellent value for money. Works well in desserts and baking recipes. Aroma appearance feels fresh and fruity. Cons: Sweetness intensity feels mild alone. Powder fineness varies slightly. Packaging durability feels thin. Flavor fades when diluted heavily.

Lovely flavor
This is a sweet starchy powder that works both as a light sweetener and thickener. I really like it for smoothies since I don't like to use the typical thickeners like yogurt or bananas. The flavor is similar to sweet apple, although it faintly reminds me of banana and cantaloupe. It blends particularly well with peaches and mangoes in my smoothies but also adds a thicker creamier texture. I also like that it's not sugary-tasting, closer to the level of sweetness of fresh fruit, so more of a subtle flavor/texture enhancer. You can add it to a lot of dishes or desserts where you want just a touch of sweetness/fruitiness, like overnight oats or chia pudding. Overall, an enjoyable addition.

Very nice addition to my smoothies, makes it a lot creamier and I like the taste.

Pleasant, but not a knockout
I decided to see how this would work as a flavoring and sweetener for chia pudding (2 T chia, 1/2 c milk, 1/4 c custard apple powder). It was...ok. I'm used to cherimoya, which is sometimes called custard apple. I believe that this powder is made from a different species of annona. Cherimoya has a lot more distinctive flavor to it. This powder mostly just provides a rather mild sweetness. And presumably, some fiber and other nutrients.

Natural product for sweetening
I like to avoid sugar if I can and this is a nice natural product to add sweetening to baked goods, smoothies, desserts, and frozen ice cream in my Ninja Creami

Sweetens nicely
Works well as a sweetener for smoothies or baked goods. Gives a creamier texture to smoothies. I would order this again.

Sadly, not what is advertised
For reference, I included the actual fruit in the review image. What I ordered was supposed to be this very fruit, annona squamosa, aka sugar apple’s fruit powder. Unfortunately I got an entirely different product than even that what’s in the cover print of the packaging, and tbh, it tastes more like a combination of baker’s sugar with powdered medicine. I was so excited to get this to add to my smoothies, baking and ice cream, but seemingly I’ll have to find another way to make my fruit last for all the things I was intending to make with the powder, now that I got the powder and it’s a complete bust.
