Easy cheap “Check Door” fix!
Bosch Vision 800 Series clothes washer. Had door latch assembly replaced 9 yrs ago under warranty $325.68. Fast forward to current “Check Door” error message. Ordered & easily installed new door latch assembly. Plugged it in. (Door gasket removal & reattach was the most challenging!) Working again in 5 min. Washing a load of clothes now. Awesome.

Extremely disappointed. Bought this part and installed it
Extremely disappointed. Bought this part and installed it. Didn’t even last 6 months and I’ve already had to reorder the part. This is a part that should last for years! I’ve had to pay for it twice.

failure analysis of org switch
Error 27 like the rest. The release pull tab didn't do anything and broke from the switch. Ended up forcefuly opening the washer door. After taking out the switch unsnapped the red cover noticed the white lever was wedged against the black bar that it normally pushes up against. When this happens it renders the emergency pull tab useless. If you didnt break anything you "could" pull out the level and reset it below the bar the switch will work. Not sure how long it would fuction until it wedged again. Replacment part was identical to original no issues.

Identical to original, seems to work well.
This was an exact replacement, and it works perfectly.

E:27 door latch code resolved
To fix E:27 error on a bosch: swap part. Mine did not work after so i had to set dial to off. Hold "delay start" and "spin cycle" and move the dial one click to the left to cold (while holding down the 2 buttons) This will reset the codes to P:01. Press spin cycle to toggle thru the P codes and stop when you get back to P:01. Now it wotrks.I also heard you can hold "spin selection" and "allergy rinse" on models before 2009

If door latch clacks & won’t open....
Works & easy install, but priced about $40 too high, hence subtracting 2 stars.
