Does any body know if this works with 2005 Mazda 3. I pulled the HU and there is a CD Port where it would plug in but some reviews says only for 2006+

I have the same question...I have an 05 with the CD changer/sat options and an available port for tape/md. I'm wondering if it will work for models older than 06 like mine, and if not, WHY DON'T THEY MAKE ONE THAT WILL??

I have a 2006 mazda 6 with a 6 disk CD changer. Does the cd changer still work if I have to plug the cable into the cd changer port?

I have the 6 disc changer in a 2006, 5 and there was a area for this cable in the back of the radio . I did not have to disconnect anything just plug and play.

It'll basically work with anything except the new iPhone 7! Because they don't think you need a universally standard 3.5mm headphone jack. :)
