Why need to use speed booster/focal reducer adapter? It converts fullframe lenses into APS-C lenses. The advantage is to get the fullfame field of view onto the APS-C sensor. Feature: Increase exposure to 1 stop, and you can use faster shutter speed to shoot an image. Works fine, closely combined with the bayonet smooth, like the original lens. Full manual operation, manual focus, manual iris adjustment can be achieved with body manual exposure, aperture priority exposure, combined infinite focus. Specification: Max. f-stop pass through: 1.4 Optical design (lenses / groups): 4/3 Focal length extension: 0.7x Image diameter (mm): 28.5 Bayonet front: 135 full frame lens Bayonet back: Sony NEX / Fuji X / Micro 4/3 Note: You must set the camera to "Shooting without lens" mode to ON before use. Avoid direct shooting to light sources, or otherwise blue spot occurs. Good and bad news...
The good: Good mount fitment front and back. I purchased this for my Fujifilm X-T20 in order to use my collection of Minolta MC and MD Rokkor lenses. It's a big plus to use a 50mm prime lens as a true 50mm (vs it being cropped to 75mm)The bad: I do notice a slight contrast loss on my 50mm f1.4 prime. Unfortunately, it is worse on my 28mm f2.0, and the colors are pushed towards a yellow tint. I'm not worried about color/white balance as this can easily be corrected, but the contrast loss I do struggle with. I "almost" kept the adapter, because we don't have that many options (beside simple tube adapters) for the X-Mount to Minolta. I really wanted this to work, but after a week of image comparisons, I decided to return it.PS: Careful with some MD mount lenses. The aperture stop pin on my Minolta MD 35-70mm f3.5 was wedged by the adapter, and regardless of the aperture ring settings, the blades were stuck wide open (f3.5). If the pin on the mount of your lens is a half circle, you should be fine. But if your pin is not shaved, but completely round, it "might" get stuck.
