I don’t like my water touching plastic, so this is perfect. The insulated lid prevents any drink from touching plastic. Even if you think you don’t need the insulation I would recommend ask you to reconsider. You don’t want moist in your hands from the metal absorbing the water. A lot of thought was put into it. It is just a bottle, but it is practical and the build quality excels. It should last a long time.
