This is a superb product, effortless to set up, light, but solid, works like a charm and extremely easy to type on. I can get pretty great speeds on this, despite a few nonstandard keys. Pairs almost instantly with my phone after unfolding, fits easily in pocket. I carry it everywhere and it is a boon in class, removing the need to carry a laptop in many situations. It fits easily into all my pockets.The charge is long, it stayed for about 10 days despite several hours of typing 3 or 4 times a week. I charged it again before i could fully test its life, but with a large battery case it is probably much more long lasting.Dropped it a couple of times accidentally already, but it held up (although i had to bend it back into place last time), so it is quite sturdy, but I wouldn't say it is super rugged.I was honestly surprised at how effective this was - a great value for $36 - turns a modern phone into a strong productivity device. Very, very strongly recommended.

i added star for top customer service that replaced unit with full-size keyboard I need.the keyboard is tight compressed but what the heck, beats thumbing and it allows me to get my eye balls 2x further from phone screen, body away from device and tilt it so the brightness isnt beaming direct into my eyes. so far the backspace key not being the big key above enter is trippy - its in upper right corner where i'd expect delete key so that's mildly funky, but overall its good enough to make me reach for my mouse. so fooled me.i do feel its possible this type of "hands cramped tight together" might feed knots in upper back, but lets keep testing. pretty smart design id say. it has a usb charged battery, folsdsup gadget techie 007, fits in one pocket as if a 6" note phone and it does the job.i like that is has a delete key fn combo as well as cut/paste and undo. any key wakes the phone. 15 seconds inactivity sleeps. its a neat gizmo. i originally imagined it for a 7-8" tablet. but i returned it because "hands cramped tight together" starts to feel knotty and uncomfortable for me after 15min and because i found a full-size foldup keyboard which isn't going to be much larger when folded. this one is too small for me to use regular.

I really like the design and presentation of this keyboard. It looks good and feels good, but there is a problem. When I connect it to a device it works for a little while, then all of a sudden only the side to the left of the fold works, but wait thats not all. The keys work as in they receive a signal, but what comes out is random symbols and with the one i am able to type and recognize is the ` key, but even that come out when i press other buttons. The only way to fix this problem is to close the keyboard and open it again to have it reset.I tested this keyboard with multiple devices, ios, windows, android, and even a kindle fire, every single time the same thing happened. I am going to send this product back if i do not get a response from the seller with a fix to the problem.I am in the process of returning the original and will order a replacement and then change my review accordingly.

I've had my hands on this for a few weeks now and I have plans to buy at least one more. This is simply great. The hinge mechanism works really well and it has magnets to hold it in both open and closed positions, with the closed magnets also serving to turn the keyboard off when closed so there's nothing to do except close it. The keys function adequately for a product of this size and price, the layout is well considered although the configuration of the arrow keys and the right shift messes with me sometimes, and I really do wish somebody made this exact design but an inch or two wider so it would fit me better. I have large hands and although I do have trouble, I can type effectively. There have been a handful of times when something would lock up and a key would behave as if it had been held for a couple seconds, this felt like a software issue so that may be my phone although I don't have issue with other keyboards I use.I really only have two complaints and I would not add them up to even half a star off. Issue one, the hinge covers are plastic. The entire body of the keyboard including the space between keys is stamped aluminum, it could be thicker but this should be durable enough to withstand more than should be expected of it; making it thicker would make it feel better and lend the keyboard more weight to resist being moved around.Issue two, the plastic hinge covers have an overmolded arch of softer material at the top and bottom, these are supposed to serve as feet however they are not nearly soft enough to provide the requisite grip to hold the keyboard in place while you type which is why the keyboard has a sheet of six adhesive backed rubber feet like you'd put on the inside of a cabinet door to make it not bang when it closes, issue two and a half, these rubber feet are entirely the wrong color to even vaguely match the anodized aluminum exterior, and they're substantially larger than they need to be; making it so they really cannot be ignored. They do work, and I'm glad I have them, but in time I hope to find a different kind which have a better color match and shorter profile; in an ideal world that overmolded arch would be made out of the same kind of rubber as these feet, so that they would actually work as intended and the sheet of feet would be unnecessary.PS, I find the most effective arrangement is to put one foot on the outside panel of the hinge cover, at the top, this helps to stabilize the footprint a little better so hitting keys at the side takes substantially more force to tilt the keyboard than if they were placed on the center panel of the hinge cover, and this makes the keyboard sit slightly lower; by not having feet at the bottom it sits at a slight tilt that I find more comfortable, though strictly speaking it would be more ergonomic to tilt slightly away.I have seen some other folding keyboards similar to this except they fold in half, and I would strongly recommend against them. Not only are they substantially smaller than this one, they use the same hinge mechanism only the hinge is located near the center of the space bar. From using this keyboard I am convinced that would lie directly under at least one of my thumbs at any time, and would obstruct the middle of the keyboard. For this one they end up sitting under the knuckles of my index fingers and are really quite well out of the way.

It seems well made, but has one flaw that makes it pretty much unusable, if you try to type. The two sides folding out are not supported well, so the whole keyboard flexes whenever you type on keys outside the four feet. The accuracy was not high enough for me to keep it. The manufacturer should add four small rubber feet on the outside corners that stabilize the keyboard when typing. The form factor itself is fine and the hinges work as designed.
