I have receptacles on my plant shelves and was looking for string lights in order to light that area up. These lights worked out great. A warm tone also and they are nice and bright.

I put these lights on a 24" wreath on the side of my house near the front door. They sure light up my doorway and my entire patio! They flash in many configurations constantly so there is no missing them. I absolutely love them. The only thing I'd change is that the cords are white so they show up in the daytime. Green cords would be better.

The lights are nice, clear, bright and love the clear wire. However the person who boxed them didn't do the best of jobs. It took me about an hour to unjumble the mess. But what's disappointing about them is you have to rest set the mode every time you plug them in, which is a hassle for me. I plugged the lights into a outlet that is hardwired to a wall switch. I did this for the easiness of it. I didn't want to deal with plugging them in and out every night do to some back issues. If the plugging in and out is not an issue for you then yes, this is a great set of lights. Hopefully it won't come in a balled up mess.

It all depends on your outdoor lighting needs of course, but they are a little too bright for my needs, so next time I will definitely look for some that are dimmable. I also found the settings other than steady on to be much too rambunctious for my needs. But they may be perfect for you.

These are great lights, BUT ...I replaced a set that had worked well on an every-night basis for several years, but that had gradually lost a number of individual bulbs. No problem there; I expect that. But the new set wouldn't remember the mode (steady on) that I wanted to use. THAT was unacceptable because I have them on a timer.Then I read here that this is the result of the manufacturer no longer having access to whatever it is that gives the power block its memory. Fortunately I still had the old power block! So problem solved ... for me. But if you don't have an old power block, be aware that you will have to set the mode every time you turn it on.

It’s been over a year and these lights are on pretty much all the time, they all still work, the mode selection still functions, I’ve never noticed any when touching the bulbs. They don’t really get moved or scratched at often but their are no tears or cuts in the cord

These lights are OK. They are easy to install and have been working for me outdoors for over a month or so now. They look really nice! They also have 8 settings which allows for variation in motion of the lights. I find it odd that the first setting is the most radical one, so having this on a timer is not ideal because the lights flash in all types of crazy ways! Every time you plug in the lights, you have to press the button 7 times to get to constant "on" motion (which should be the default setting, I think)! The plug is rather long, so it sticks out awkwardly and does not actually rest inside my outdoor enclosure (the lid has to remain open), so not sure why it was engineered this way - oh, well.Overall, these are nice lights and they work. They do have a few quirks, though!

Soft glow with plenty of bulbs to light up any size area. Not to bright no matter how close you have to place the bulbs.
