Dried Hard Shell Martin Gourd - 6" Diameter

We love these gourds, They are both beautiful and sturdy. My husband drilled the entrance hole and 3 smaller ones on the bottom. I ordered these after breeding season was over, so they are not occupied now. But I know they will be next breeding season, or for shelter during cold weather. Right now they are a nice decoration in our yard below the fir trees.

I ordered 6 dried gourds so my kids and some of their friends could paint them to look like chickens (idea from Pinterest). I wasn't expecting anything in the way of quality, but I was completely BLOWN AWAY by how nice these gourds were and how well they were packaged and how quickly they arrived (2 days!!!). They came from a company called Meadowbrooke Gourds, located in Carlisle, PA (mbgourds.com). I would HIGHLY recommend them!! If I could give more stars, I would!

This gourd was perfect for making into a carved bowl. It has a nice thick shell and the outside was clean and free of blemishes. I'll definitely be back for more!

I purchased the gourd for a craft project to be sold but the flat hack makes it unusable for this purpose. The gourd is not returnable (and I suspect this might be because people would return them if they could). I won’t buy any more products from this seller.

Absolutely loved these, nice thick walls, sturdy for the bird houses i am making. Would love to purchase more of the same.
