Great acrylic bender at a great price! The machine works great so far and has given nice clean bends. Water cooling system is intuitive to set up and seems to work well (the bigger the bucket of water, the longer it will go without needing to be replaced) I recessed mine into my work table which makes getting accurate bends even easier. Package also comes with a spare heating element in case it ever needs replacing.Considering the next most affordable option on the market is over $200 USD, this bender is the best bang-for-your-buck, hands down.

The product works very well, however, there are no instructions on its use. Easy to figure out, but I would suggest filling a bowl not only with water but with ice also. The tool heats up the water (to VERY hot) very quickly. The supplied water pump overheats and shuts off if the water isn’t kept cool (with a moderate temp selected, the pump fails in about 8-10 minutes).

I just used it for the first time to bend a 23 1/2” acrylic for a home project and it worked better than I expected. The bends I made didn’t have any bubbles in the acrylic. The temperature probe for the water cooling didn’t come with batteries, or tell you what batteries to buy so I just kept checking the water by hand to make it didn’t get too warm.

the idea is great but execution is poor. variable heat control only works on full power setting which is way to hot for my application. the quartz tube that encases/insulates the heating element from the aluminum case was also broken.

The item arrived well packaged and on time. It was easy to set up. I recessed mine into a old table top. Ran the pump to a lowes bucket. Plugged her in and was bending within the hour. Go ahead and spurge on the biggest one. Also if you want to bend thicker than 3/8" you can buy 2 and stack 1 upside down on the other one. It will than heat from top and bottom. You should be able to bend 3/4" then.

To begin, this device needs to be secured on a solid base to prevent it from tipping especially when electricity is ON to avoid a serious accident, it provides no such a design it stands loose on the benchThis product uses electricity and water in a BAD COMBINATION to cool down the hot element.The description and attached two-page explanation of how to set up are not detailed, and some of the additional parts are not explained. I received a quick reply from the manufacturer with several questions, but I chose to return the product for the above reasons.

The heater quickly gets the plastic up to a bending temperature, and the cooling channel makes sure that the heat does not spread beyond the focused area. Practice first to avoid getting bubbles in your bends.

The water cooling system works perfectly. One can work safely thanks to this. the heat regulator very well too. they always answered my questions.
