Fixed My Briggs and Stratton Perfectly!
This worked perfectly! I love that it includes everything you need for a refresh - the filter, plug and carb. Everything fits perfectly and it started right up.

Crazy how cheap these are but they work great
unbelievable they can sell these things so cheap...works great, bolted right on and fired up first pull.

perfect fit
I tried to order this part from the manufacturer, but they said that it was discontinued due to the lawnmower was a 2003 Troy Bilt model. At first, I was skeptical about ordering it on amazons' website but went ahead and ordered it. Once i received it, it only too about 5 minutes to install and it was a perfect fit. The whole kit (carb, air filter, spark plug, and gaskets) all fit perfectly and had my lawnmower running like new and starting on first pull every time.

Revived a dead machine with no problem. Installation was pretty straight forward and got it running no problem.

Replacement for Briggs 725EX on Troybilt TB230
The media could not be loaded. I have a 2013 Troybilt TB230 with the original Briggs and Stratton 725EX engine. I replaced the original carburetor with this one. Easy install, except for where the z-bent autochoke linkage attaches to the choke arm on the carb. The hole on the carb arm where the linkage slips in and attaches was too small. I couldn't get the z-bend to slide thrpugh the hole. I had to use a 7/64 drill bit and open that hole. A little WD40, and I could get the z-bend in that linkage to slide into the hole finally and attach. Still a tight fit but just like the stock one fit. Other than that, everything else lined up, it bolted right up and fired on the 2nd pull. Runs like new.
