LG VX8350 Cell Phone, Bluetooth, Camera, Speaker, for Verizon - Red

Every couple of years I buy this same exact phone for my 80+ yr old grandmother. It's simple and does what a phone is meant to do, make and receive calls.Reason I had to replace the last one was it decided to jump out of her pocket and wash itself in the washing machine...lol

Just what I wanted and very attractive, but comes with a non-standard size charger which doesn't fit, and the standard size chargers that fit everything else do not fit either. Since the phone cannot be charged, it doesn't work, and I am trying to return it.UPDATE: took phone to Verizon store and discovered that the charging portal was not on the side but the bottom of the phone. Problem solved.

I have had this phone before and loved it . It has features I hadn't even learned how to use yet but just when I wanted to add the web to it, the hinge cracked. I'd had the phone for years and really liked it so when it cracked, I was on the hunt for a new one only to find out that I couldn't replace it through any Verizon stores any more. They told me to try third party vendors but to be wary of those with bad reviews and mindful that some phones are stolen. So, Amazon was my next search and with its A-Z guarantee, I took a chance with this vendor with whom I am extremely satisfied and would definitely recommend! I got my phone much sooner than the estimated delivery date, the condition was new, as promised, and it works great! I love it and have added the web; it's a great phone and am very happy to have found this vendor who helped me replace my original. Thank you!

The phone was for my wife, and it is as described only trouble being, the charger plug does not stay plugged into the phone, you have to lay it down and position it just right to get it to charge, which is really a pain !

Back battery cover defective. Does not fit properly.

This man was so apologetic that he didn't have the red phone as advertised and wanted to know if I'd accept the gray one. Not a problem as it was a replacement for my parents (they are in their 80's) and wanted simple and this was identical to their old one. They didn't care what color. AS it turns out my father had a heart attack and I was taking him home the very next day from the hospital and was able to have this charged and set up for him on his return home. I don't like my parents being out on the road without a phone. Great deal, great seller!

Would not connect to blue tooth devices. I previously had the same model phone that connected to the same devices.

I ordered this phone for my senior citizen mom. She cannot function a smart phone and had ruined her old flip phone. She loves this. First of all, because of the burgundy color, but the screen is rather large and she can see things. Also, it stays charged for a while. It is the basic flip phone, but it works perfectly or her and fits her needs, which was why I decided to buy it after I read the description. Great listing, very well described. I am impressed.
