RY252CS RY253SS Carburetor for Ryobi RY251PH RY254BC 2 Cycle 25cc Gas String Trimmer Weedeater Parts Carb Kit

After a timely and efficient order and delivery, slapped it on and my gas powered trimmer runs like a champ! Just the carburetor it needed. The only downside now is I have no more credible excuses to avoid trimming the trees for my wife!

The media could not be loaded. This was a replacement for the carburetor on a Ryobi RY253SS 2 Cycle full crank straight shaft string trimmer. Installation was straight forward with the exception of a couple variations. First, take note that the configuration of the unit is a bit different (see photos). This does not impact usability of the carburetor, but your fuel lines will connect lower toward the fuel tank. Second, note that the kit-provided gasket does not align to the stock Ryobi gasket and covers a hole (see photos). To resolve this, I marked the location and drilled the hole to align. This is easy enough to resolve but you need to watch for it or the motor will cut out. Lastly, I will say that the kit contained basically everything you'll need short of a fuel line assembly tool/hook; lines, gaskets, filters, plug, carb, bulb, etc. I feel like I got my money's worth and would purchase it again.

No issues with fitment bolted straight on worked peoperly.

The product was perfect except for thing. There is a hole that goes to the gas tank tolet air in. The gasket provided had holes for it, but none lined up properly causing the motor to stop when revved up to high speed. I just re-used the old gasket and all was well. Other than that, the engine ran perfectly after installing the ne carb and filter.

Purchase the carburetor replacement for Roybi weedeater power head. The fit was perfect, it saved me the cost of replacing.

I put that sucker on my Ryobi weed whipper and it fired up and it ran awesome.
