Very precision made drop forged USA mini pliers. These fit well in the palm of hand and grab things as thin as a hair or piece of paper. Very precision. FIVE STARS to Klein Tools, and their Heritage Scissors are the best also.

Very fine yet rather sturdy and extremely grippy at the tip - nice! These have a coil sprung handle.

I ordered these for the spring loaded feature. On this tool, it does not spring open unless you give it a bit of force open with your fingers. Stuff happens and I'm not thrilled with this behavior of the tool, but not enough to send it back. It is well made and gives you a good grip.

Nice just what I expected.

These are not the quality of Klein tools made years ago. Surface finish is rough. Manufacturing debris still in the jaws, etc. But they work and the jaws are parallel and meet at the tip. So ok, but not great.

I use these for electronics prototyping at work. I work mostly with through hole technology with some SMD. They work great! Very durable and reliable.

Have been using klein D3214 1/2c for 45 years. Have owned 1/2 dozen of this model. The pliers shipped have a damaged jaw (see photo), its the wrong size, larger. Made in mexico. This plier is unusable. Klien not managing product quality in their Mexico factory.

The twenty year old version of this exact tool is a go to tool for me. It is like a cross between tweezers and pliers. The new version has at least a 1/16 of play in the hinge and the tip of the new one is 1/8 wide vs 1/16 width of the old one. I was able to center punch the center of the hinge and take most of the slop out. Shame on you Klein, your tools used to be synonymous with top quality, but you have been letting me down repeatedly lately.

The plier is handy for intricate and difficult to access areas, especially for electronic boards. As expected build quality is good and grip is firm and handy
