Resolve Easy Clean Pro Carpet Cleaner Gadget & Foam Spray Refill, 22 Fl Oz

This does the job its supposed to. It definitely cleans the carpet better than me scrubbing on my hands and knees. Not sure what the difference is though bc I have always used the resolve aerosol cleaner (same one that is included here) to do my hands on cleaning. This just saves my back from the pain and somehow works better. HOWEVER, it is not a magical potion. It does the job, but after time, those tough spots come right back after it dries. And if you dont do it right the first time it looks more like an outline of the spot. You really have to clean the entire area to avoid lines. There are a couple spots on my carpet that came "cleaner" than the others too. So I basically have these circles of what looks like new clean carpet and circles of old stains. They're small, and hardly noticeable but it drives me nuts. The scent of the cleaner though is AMAZING. I wish I could use it on everything!!Overall, its a standard temporary cleaner. It makes life easier not bending over. You have to clean the brush constantly and you dont realize how fast the refills go until their gone. Its best for small accidents and not good for red stains. I clean the bush after each use, but I am thinking if I want to continue using this, I might need to replace the brush every few months, and that to me in the end doesnt seem worth it. Rated it well on here, but dont recommend it to the people looking for a thorough cleaner. I mean, in the end... this is just rubbing the surface clean and pushing the stain you're cleaning deeper into the carpet right?

I've found Resolve does a great job, but bending over to scrub the treated areas was just too much for me. This system solved my problem, but not as designed. My carpet is 30 years old and one particular area really takes a beating. I even bought a fancy carpet cleaner to clean the whole carpet myself, but wasn't delighted with the results. It was okay, but it was an awful lot of messy work. I decided to try Resolve on the worst area where the carpet gets traffic from the kitchen and the deck. The outside door doesn't allow room for a throw rug and it was getting to look pretty sad.Well, I was shocked upon first use that the Resolve High Traffic foam did such a good job. I bought more for my next effort, but decided I wanted to cover more areas this time (and take care of the puppy pee spots here and there). However, the more I thought about it, I just didn't see how I could be doubled over hand brushing the foam in over all the areas I wanted to clean, so when I saw the commercial for this system I bought it immediately hoping the brush was sturdy enough to do the job. It is. I did try installing the big can that came with the set into the brush handle and applying it via the trigger, but I didn't get the nice covering of foam I did when applying the product by hand. It went on more smoothly when I sprayed it myself and that certainly wasn't hard. Then I used the brush with the handle to scrub the foam in. That way I was able to cover each area in reasonably sized patches and move to the next. It was still work to really scrub with the brush, but so much easier with the handle and vastly easier than with the big steam unit. I thought I'd run out of foam and have to use another of the cans I had on hand, but was able to cover everywhere I needed to with the supplied can and even have some left over. I did two areas 4x4, two 5x5, a hall 2x8, one 2x6 and the various puppy spots.After vacuuming, the carpet looks great again and no need to haul the big cleaner out. Not only am I very pleased with the results I got with Resolve, it seems to last really well. Often carpet cleaners leave residue that seems to attract dirt again quickly. The Resolve doesn't. I highly recommend Resolve High Traffic Foam and if you need a brush on a handle to make the application easier, this set does the job and the brush is easy to store.

PROS:- Cleans pretty well- Almost completely eliminates odors- Dries fairly quickly- Worked on different types of fabric without damaging it- Good quick alternative to a carpet cleanerCONS:- Handle is flimsy and wobbly especially if you're trying to scrub with some pressure to remove stains- Can of cleaner was used up fairly quickly (3.5 area rugs about 5x6' each)- Brushes clog up with the pet hair that my vacuum wasn't able to pull out of the rug beforehand- Foam can be kind of hard to push around and gets all over the front of the mop instead of the floor

OMG - this product is AMAZING!! I have a cream colored carpet that my lab loves to lay on - in one particular area. Well, that carpet was grey. I decided to give this a try. I like that it is easy, inexpensive, and that I can clean the carpet on my own time without worries about renting or making special arrangements. Anyway, cleaned the area yesterday - it's just about perfect. If you were to come to my house and see the carpet you would not be able to distinguish the dog's "area" - it's that clean. I have read reviews noting that some older stains don't come out - and that is true - I have a few old stains in that area that were considerably faded, but not completely gone. I bet you if I gave those a bit of extra attention I could get them out. I will definitely be buying more cleaner. The brush that comes with the unit is great. Easy to assemble and put away. Worked great both for leverage and not having to be on all 4s and for spraying the cleaning foam where needed. You will need more than one can to clean an entire rug, however, (larger than 4x6).

You can't go wrong with this nifty and well-thought of little carpet cleaner. The brush is excellent and really scrubs the carpet clean. The foam cleaner smells good too. I spot cleaned my carpets and it did an excellent job. I highly recommend this cleaner.

This item gave me the clean rug I wanted and I am tickled pink about it! The scrubber is strong and perfect for the job!! Thank-you Resolve!!
