I'm not great with heights on less than stable platforms, so I'd rather not go that route. With this net measurement device, I don't have to. I simply select the height I need and hook it to the net. Easy peasy. There are two reasons why it doesn't get 5 stars. 1) The markings are a little off. One of my fellow officials has one and let me know. I used my net chain to check it and mark the correct height on the pole. 2) I wish it collapsed further to make it easier to pack in a bag.
