Galvanized Steel Utility Pail 14-Quart

We now own 3 of these Behrens pails in 12 & 14 quart sizes and we LOVE THEM! They have come in so handy in a hundred different ways. Our family enjoys camping and these find a number of uses as a water pail, dish washing bucket, fire extinguisher and cabin trash can. We have used the buckets to gather pecans at a you-pick-it farm and filled them with kindling to contain the mess when we pull the fire pit out into the driveway. We use them for parties - both as a drink icing bucket, goody bag holder and impromptu trash can - and have used them as an emergency water bucket when teaching fire building to 10 and 11 year old youth. The bucket is easy to loop over your arm to hold your scissors and contain the garbage at a popsicle party where you are constantly snipping the tops off Otter pops and handing them out to eager children. When our son spilled some gasoline on his shirt, I used one bucket as a wash basin outside so as not to contaminate my washing machine with gas. Good for leaving a ton of Halloween candy on your porch so the doorbell doesn't ring all night. The BEST Easter egg basket for huge egg hunts in dewy wet grass! The list goes on and on for the number of uses we have found for these sturdy buckets but until you own one, you won't know how handy they are! I use a Sharpie to write our name on them because they are such good buckets, they are at risk of disappearing. Amazon often has these under ten, which is a better price than local big box home improvement stores. I wish I had received one of these as a wedding gift or even as a baby shower gift because as an outdoor-loving family, we have used these SO MUCH! You just cannot go wrong with owning a good, reliable, sturdy steel bucket! We haven't had any of our 4 Behrens products leak but if you do, a little clear silicone caulk (the kind they use on fish aquariums) will stop the leaks once it is dry. We keep a brand new tube on-hand just in case but we haven't ever had to use it.

These are the best buckets on the market. I have several sizes and use them for watering and storing my bird feed. The larger ones come with well secured locking lids making them excellent feed storage containers. They are galvanized with rust preventative and will last for years, just like the ones your grandparents had when you were a young person.

I think this is a great quality product. The bottom of mine was dented pretty bad but I doubt that was Behren’s fault, it was probably done during shipping or delivery. I figure I’m using it to haul scraps, it doesn’t need to be perfect.

Hey its a bucket that's galvanized.It also happens to fit in a keystoker 90 coal stove as an ash pan. Great deal.

I purchased 2 Behrens Galvanized pails. One is for my charcoal grill ash can. The other is for my honeybee tools and smoker when I go to the apiary. The price is good (~$16 ea) and the pails will work fine for my applications. They are made in the USA. The box they came in was beat-up and crushed on one side. Surprisingly, they were not damaged. (FedEx delivery)

It is large bucket and very well made. It is beyond my expectations... it will last a life time. So much better then my old one that someone took!
