ValueRAM is my first choice
Just because it is the least expensive option does not mean that it is cheap or slow. I'm not sure I've ever seen a difference between high performance DIMMs and ones like this where a human could tell the difference in performance, so spending the extra money doesn't seem to make sense. I chose a single stick, since I wanted to purchase the highest density my motherboard could support, but I didn't need 16 GB right away. If I do need more, I will be buying this.I installed this in an Asus P9D-M motherboard with no issues.

Good for Supermicro X9SCM motherboads
Installed two in an X9SCM-F motherboard for 16 GB. Used a Core i3-3220T, which supports ECC. The system ran 24h of nonstop memtest86 with no errors. Supermicro motherboards have a reputation for being picky with RAM. These are working great for me.

Compatible w/ Supermicro X9SCL+-F
Just wanted to pass along that this RAM is compatible with the Supermicro X9SCL+-F motherboard. Supermicro boards can be picky about RAM but these sticks work great.

No problems at all!
Placed into Sandy Bridge server (Lenovo), had no issues working in parallel with factory 4 GB chip placed by Lenovo.

Works in HP Proliant Microserver N54L
This is one of the cheapest and most reliable ways to add 8GB of branded, ECC, unbuffered/non-registered RAM to your HP Proliant Microserver N54L (possibly earlier models too). I moved the original 2GB to the second bank and installed this in the first, has always booted up without problem and shows all 10GB in ESXi. It also arrived 2 days after ordering (way before expected date), buy with confidence!EDIT: I now have two of these in my microserver, confirmed working and booting etc with 16GB of RAM.
