Long term energy and no jitters
We buy these all the time. I have a coffee in the morning and then one of these in the afternoon. Like they say, the energy lasts longer than coffee and no jitteriness like you might get from too much coffee. I'm not a huge tea person myself but I actually like these. My wife is a tea person and she brews the leaf version of this in the morning and usually has a can in the afternoon. She doesn't do coffee because it makes her jittery. The brewed and can versions don't taste much alike. Mixed reviews from friends and family. The sweetened ones are best IMO but, to my surprise, even the unsweetened orange one is decent as far as flavor.

Nasty. This stuff makes warm diet Red Bull seem like the best thing you've ever tasted.
We all drink this stuff for the caffeine, but man; a beverage should taste remotely decent. This stuff is horrid. I'm hoping my one-star review prevents at least one decent human from making the mistake of buying this canned taste bud torture.Pretty much every flavor tastes like something you shouldn't drink; like stirring a spoon full of tile cleaner into really weak coffee. Lime doesn't remotely taste like lime. It tastes more like chilled parking lot puddle water with a touch of brake fluid. "Berry" straight tastes like a chemical cocktail. The can states that what makes this stuff stand apart from other energy drinks is the lack of "hard to pronounce chemicals", but they sure nailed the chemical taste with this swill.I can imagine drinking the groundwater from an EPA Superfund site would taste a lot like this disgusting drink.I'm not sure if I'm more awake from the caffeine or the pure shock of how nasty this stuff is. Do yourself a favor and skip this one.

Flavor bad; buzz good
If I reviewed this on flavor alone, it's two stars. The tea has an odd flavor that doesn't really mix with any flavor well. It's not very good. But the buzz is great. Nice and even pick me up that lets you down easy. Unless you're hitting the slopes everyday, one of these should get you revved up. For everyone else, drink two and avoid tasks that require a steady hand.

If you are looking for flavor, go elsewhere. Otherwise, come here for "mood lifting" energy
The taste of this energy drink is not as pleasant as others but you are missing the point if you think it's about the taste. This is the true definition of "acquired taste" upon first drinking my 1st can, I did not enjoy the taste. On my 4th or 5th can, that is when I enjoyed the drink for what it was.The Runa leaf is what is responsible for the mood lifting effect when drinking this. Combine this with caffeine, it is something that is powerful upon drinking. The drinks with carbs and sweetening are the best tasting ones. No doubt, the 0 carb, 0 sweetening are the least flavorful.

I really wanted to like this as a replacement for another product that went out of production.
I ordered this in my search to find a good, clean replacement for Mati after that company stopped production. I really have tried to like the RUNA tea as much as I did the Mati, but I just can't. Its much more carbonated, which is fine--although heavy carbonation is not my preference, I am willing to look past it. But the thing that gets me is the flavor and sweetness. I loved Mati for it's simple ingredient list.... tea and juice. Transparent ingredients and I knew what I was putting into my body. RUNA delves into the land of "flavors" on labeling. Sure, they are natural flavors, but they are still a chemically derived substitute for the flavor listed on the can. On top of that, these teas are sweetened (and heavily) with sugar. In a sugar addicted world, I like believe that "clean" brands would do their part to reduce the consumption of sugary products... RUNA falls short on this. These drinks are incredibly sweet, and in some cases the combination of natural flavors and added sugar leaves the drinker with an after taste similar to that of artificial sweeteners. While I am positive these drinks are healthier than more mainstream energy drinks, they do fall short for me on many of the factors which I look for in a healthy pick-me-up during the day.Also- packaging on these seems pretty flimsy. Thin aluminum and inadequate boxing. I had to order this twice as two cans burst in transit on my first order. It arrived in a plastic bag filled with soggy cardboard. Amazon was prompt in issuing a refund though, and the second order arrived intact...although I can see how it could easily have been damaged again as the tea cans were packaged inside a thin cardboard box which was inside an Amazon box with about 5 inches of space on all sides and no padding.TLDR: Healthier than other energy drinks, but not as clean as I would like. Very sweet.

Weird taste but good alternative
I used to drink energy drinks all the time so was excited to find a clean version! However I really didn’t care for the taste of these. It is definitely just a personal preference for me but I couldn’t finish one. If you enjoy these flavors, these are a great alternative but it just had a weird after taste for me .

People here can't read
I got a 6 for 6 deal during black friday week and thought to myself, why not try it? At the current price point, I would definitely not have tried them. However, contrary to opinions here, it is not advertised as an energy drink but a tea which is not really sweetened. It does give boost of energy and lasting/clean sustaining energy. People are right, the only nice flavor is perhaps pineapple and mango....Which is why this is a sampler pack to choose future drinks. Overall, if it's on sale, I'd definitely substitute this for my redbull, amazon energy drinks and moutain dew energy drinks.

CURIOUS IF THE MANUFACTURER OR OWNERS HAVE TASTED THESE!!!
Well, these might give you energy. However, who can drink enough to find out. These are absolutely awful!!! So bad, we can’t even think of anything this bad to compare them to. Deserves NO STARS and I wish I could get my money back, since only one swallow/taste of each flavor was consumed. Tried them all and poured them all down the drain.
