Perry EllisMen's Gramercy Passcase Wallet

While I wanted to replace a somewhat juvenile duct tape wallet that I've had for many years, the main reason is that a couple of chain holes in that wallet made using the bill compartment annoying because they limited access to the space.After much hunting around, I selected three wallets to try through Amazon's Prime Wardrobe and eventually chose this one. I initially saw this brand while looking around Macy's (there's no substitute for seeing the physical product), then came to Amazon to find a much cheaper selection -- no surprise there.Being able to remove the ID holder was the *most important factor* for me; they just add bulk and most of the time the person asking to see the ID will want to view it outside the wallet anyway. I do wish there were more slots, but the under-card storage is large/loose enough that it's not too much of an issue for the things I seldom use. In addition, if I wanted to use the ID holder, I would be unable to use one of the under-card spaces for the additional storage. Each slot is lined with fabric, as is the bill compartment, so there is no risk of the leather staining or otherwise marking the cards. Having a divided bill compartment is nice to separate 20s from the smaller denominations. After loading the wallet up with everything, I placed it under a couple of textbooks over a weekend and that broke it in just enough for everyday use.Final note: I am a woman and bought this to use for myself. I often dislike many female-oriented things. In the case of wallets, many women's wallets are of the pocket-book style, which is too large for me, and come in styles that I dislike. I wanted a plain, simple, standard wallet and knew that I would have to look to the men's selection for something that would suit me. That said, this most often goes in a bag, and rarely in a back pocket; I likely will not force the same rough wear as most men put their wallets through, so I expect this will last quite a long while.

So far, so good.

I'm picky about wallets. I don't like stuffing one with so much junk that it feels like I'm sitting on a coffee cup. And I don't want one that is too thick even before I put anything in it. So I wind up keeping wallets a long time, so long last time that the beloved old thing was literally falling apart. Much as it grieved me, I had to find a replacement, and this one is working great so far. After a couple of months, it looks good and is not too thick even with a normal amount of folding money and a necessary variety of cards and documents. Like a lot of other reviewers, I tossed the pull-out card holder to hold down on thickness, but it still has all the slots and storage I need. Good choice!

Very Nice Quality, especially for being under 50 dollars. I believe I paid around 25? Very soft supple leather.The ID holder in the middle is removable and serves as a second, thin wallet should you need to go thin. I'm not sure the wallet is really functional if you do not seperate these two parts as it is way to thick.Overall I am extremely pleased.

My boyfriend bought his current wallet 5 or 6 years ago (maybe longer - he can't remember exactly). It finally needed replacing, and I wanted to replace the wallet with the same one he currently has, and this is it! The quality of this wallet is outstanding! The leather and stitching is still intact actually, but the wallet itself has started to lose its shape. After the years of abuse it has suffered from residing in his back pocket, it is absolutely amazing that it is still in the condition that it is.If you are looking for a reasonable priced, yet well-made and high quality wallet, then look no further!

I had similar design that I cannot remember the name anymore since I had it for more than 8 years. I never used the big one at all and the insert was enough to have my ID and cards with a few bills in it.Damaged when motorcycle accident and I bought this to replace the old one. The insert is a little tighter to get two cards in window slots but it will stretch later.I managed to put 8 cards total is enough and it is slim enough that I don't feel like something in my pocket anymore. Material is great but it is Portfolio not the Germercy style I expected. No complaint since I bought it just for the insert.The pictures should explain how it looks and how many slots for the insert. Two windows fits 4 cards tightly and two side slots fits 5 if stretched.

My husband likes it. I love the amount of space it has.

I bought this as a replacement for my falling apart trifold wallet. I wanted to have a smaller footprint in my hip pocket and it looked like the Gramercy Passcase would fit the bill. It did - I am impressed with the construction quality and the softness of the leather. It has given me a reason to stop carrying around so much unneeded stuff in my wallet. Just the most-used cards, driver license and some bills. I'm glad I chose this one.
