The attention to detail on this product exceeds all my expectations. Let me walk you through the process of unwrapping it and you will get a sense of why I am so impressed. This toiletry bag comes in a large ziploc bag to protect it. The ziploc bag has a hole punched in it so it is not a choking hazard. The toiletry bag is also in a thin protective fabric bag with a pull string closure which you could use to protect the bag while it is not being used. Once you take the toiletry bag out of the fabric bag, you see that the buckles, hook, and zippers are all individually wrapped in tissue paper. All the metal work is protected by tissue paper. Vetelli has made an extraordinary effort to ensure you receive your toiletry bag in perfect condition. When you remove the tissue paper you see the workmanship on the bag is perfect. The stitches are correctly aligned, none are missing, no stitches are loose. The bag looks much more expensive than it actually is - some people have compared them to toiletry bags on other sites that cost three times as much. When you undo the buckles and unroll the bag you can see the quality workmanship continues inside. Instead of all leather, we have canvas with leather highlights. There are two full width zippered compartments at the top and in the middle. The zippers are heavy-duty metal and glide smoothly. They are embedded into leather inserts for maximum strength. Underneath there are two half-width pockets side by side that use pop fasteners. These fasteners are also heavy-duty metal. Each of the pockets is gusseted so you can really put a lot into them. The zippered pockets are about 1.5" x 4.5" x 11". That calculates out to well over 200 cubic inches of storage in total. Even when the bag is fully loaded the leather straps are long enough to close it securely. I only have one criticism and that is simply that the bag's hook assumes the door already has a coat hook on it. I would recommend buying an "over the door hook" too (right here on Amazon), especially if, like me, you also bought one for the wife. We don't need to be fighting over a single coat hook.

I could have bought plenty of other toiletry cases for less money but I decided to splurge a little bit and buy this one, and I'm so happy I did. It holds a TON of stuff (especially if you fill it with travel-sizes). I had enough space for all my toiletries, with enough room left over for some first aid items and even a few small pieces of survival gear. The caramel colored leather that makes up the body of the bag is nice and thick. The same goes for the inside canvas that makes up the pockets. And I love that the zippers are all metal and trimmed with leather. I have a couple vintage pieces of luggage from the 1950's that have those types of zippers, and while you hardly see them anymore, I love that Vetelli chose to use them on this bag. It's that attention to small details that make this bag look and feel very classic and luxurious. With that being said, the one negative thing (and I'm nit-picking here) I'd point out is that the chocolate brown straps and handle, and the dark brown/black piping seem to be made of a synthetic/fake leather type material. I don't believe this will affect the durability of the item, but I mention it because I was under the assumption that all parts were genuine leather. I would gladly pay more for this if at least the straps were made out of real leather. Bottom Line: This is a stunning piece and worth every penny. Looks much more expensive than it's price. It's one of those items that anybody could use, so it would make a great gift for someone who's hard to buy for (male or female). If taken care of I could easily see this as something that can be passed down to a loved one one day and cherished. Highly recommend.

I never leave reviews on Amazon, but I felt like I really had to leave one for this bag. This bag is perfect. I store all of my beard and shaving products in this bag and keep it hanging all the time for easy access. So I use the bag every day. Whenever I need to go away for a few days, I just roll up the bag and I'm ready to go. There's no more running around looking for stuff to pack. It's all there, ready to go. The bag looks amazing and it is really well made. The leather is of very good quality and the canvas is strong and sturdy. I have received many compliments about the bag, as it looks like it is much more expensive than it costs. Moreover, there is A LOT of storage room in the bag. The pockets are nice and big, and you can really fit a lot of stuff in it. If you're in the market for a classy looking travel bag, that can hold a lot of stuff, you will lot go wrong with this product.

I haven't had a chance to test it on the road yet, but so far it's as good a Dopp Kit as I can imagine anyone ever finding at this price point. For those of you worried that it might have a plastic, fake leather feel to it, like many PU leather goods, stop worrying. While true leather aficionados may not be fully satisfied, most of you will probably, instead, think that this bag is worth twice as much as its actual price. It really is quite nice. Color wise, it wasn't quite what I was expecting. It's less of a rich cordovan and more of a nice, light camel shade. I don't know what it looks like on your monitor. :) Capacity wise, it's perfect for me. I tend to use travel sized goods in my Dopp Kits, always packed and ready to go. So for me it closes just as easily and flat as it did when it was empty (and this is after stuffing it full of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, deodorant, toothbrush and paste, mouthwash, floss, cologne, a comb, q-tips, a nail trimmer and a beard trimmer and probably another thing or two that I've simply forgotten). I don't know if this was on purpose, but the positioning of the top pocket allows the contents to sink to just the right spot when folding, so that it folds in b/w the contents of the other pockets, thus conserving space. (Side note: this does, as others have pointed out, mean that contents sit horizontally in their pockets until you position them upright after arriving wherever you're going and then hanging the bag. Didn't bother me, but may bother some.) All in all, it's one of my favorite purchases so far on Amazon.

I bought this as a gift for my husband, and he loves it! His first remark was, "Wow, you shouldn't have spent so much money! This is awesome!" What he doesn't know is I didn't spend that much! He commented on the real leather accents and the quality of it more than once. He is excited to use it for our text trip. He's one of those guys who stuffs everything in a backpack and uses a Ziploc bag for toiletries, so he loves that he'll look like a gentleman instead of a hobo now. This makes it easy for him to access all his products quickly instead of digging around every time. He also likes the hanging feature that makes it easy to set up in hotel rooms or even in a tent when camping. What's great about having this is, he can put all his travel size toiletries in it ahead of time and leave them in there so that he can just grab it and go every time he goes somewhere. I am patting myself on the back for a great gift idea. Your man, or you, will loves this classy travel bag!

Man this thing feels sturdy. I'm sure it's not pure leather, but the build is nicer then you may think. There are some inseams that may not stand the test of time, but overall very happy with yhe feel and storage capacity. I have some photos of the bag and what it looks like filled as well. I have everything from deodorant stick (full size) contact case, hair oils, glasses, combs, hair ties, even my cigar cutter and butane lighter etc in this thing and it closed just fine. Looks good with my duffel and fits inside nice and neat. Would recommend

This is the perfect toiletry bag for me. I have carried a lot of toiletries and related items for many years when I travel and was thrilled several years ago when I finally found a bag that would accommodate everything. That thing was canvas and plastic and far from attractive, but it served the purpose. Over the years, I eliminated a few items but still need a lot of space. I stumbled on this one searching Amazon for a new bag, and based on the specifications, description, and customer reviews, I decided to try it. Bingo! It is a complete and total winner. It's not much smaller than my old bag but has fewer pockets, which is fine since I didn't need as many pockets my old one had. These pockets are large enough to hold a lot of toiletries. The old one looked cheap, although it wasn't, it came from an online travel focused company, and this one looks more expensive than it really is. My wife guessed it cost over $100 when it arrived and was shocked when I told her it was less than half that. She's as happy with it as I am, I think. Bottom line, the bag is exactly as pictured and described, so if you think it might work for you, it will. Better than you'll expect I'll bet. Customer service and followup from Vetelli is excellent. I believe they would do anything possible to make sure you're pleased with your purchase, but for me they have done it all already.
