No instructions come with it, like what glue to use, tips on how to open the original to remove innards. Removing the innards from the old one is more difficult than expected (and I'm pretty handy), and apparently the remote sensing was damaged and no longer works: I wish now I'd never tried this option. I should have just repainted the symbols on the original one.

It worked one day. The casing did not snap back together. The key I had cut at a local hardware and it works well but the remote does not wor k at all.

it did not work at all according to the Directions...instead my extra Remote Control on my C-X9 is Completely ruin... Now I only have one pair of remote left

Theoretically this should work, but the OEM part doesnt allow you to remove the board without breaking it.
