EBCS9KF1128 Brake Kit

Replaced the factory front brakes on a 2013 1500 suburban at 50k miles. I am impressed with the stopping power. The braking increase I would say they added 30 percent more stopping power. To back my statement up I will mention that I have 17 Years of high-end performance auto and motorcycle repairs behind me. Read the paper that comes with the brake set. Follow the bed in instructions to a T. There is initial squeaking just as described. It does quiet as the rotor and pad mate, forming the proper deposition layer. The downside to these brakes which there is only this one. There is 3 times the brake dust compared to the factory GM brakes. This brake dust is thick and will coat your rims in coal colored dust in 300 miles of driving. I will take the added performance over the dust any day. One other item that may bother somebody is the slightly low scraping noise these brakes make on the slotted rotors when brakes are applied. I personally enjoy hearing the sound of grinding friction stopping my truck. GOOD work EBC, you are on my race bike, my daily driver and soon to meet the rest of the fleet.

Kit was purchased for a 2014 Tahoe RWD LT, the rotors that came in the kit were too small. The brake pads were correct but the rotor bolt circle was too small and had to return them. maybe a quality control problem at the factory? I've used EBC stuff before without an issue so I was surprised and disappointed.
