I wanted to try a turntable while decorating a few cakes. I didn't want to invest a lot of money into it before I knew whether or not it was something I would use consistently, so I gave this one a shot.It works well for what it is. The turntable works well and it does make it easier to decorate cakes.It is not very tall, and it does not tilt, but it is exactly as described.I don't know that I will ever use the spatulas, they're gigantic and a bit awkward to use.The smoothers are quite nice and because they are made of metal, I put them under hot water and then smoothed my cake and it worked quite nicely.This is a great kit for a beginner cake decorator, or someone that does it occasionally for fun.

How do you level a cake with an un-level level? It has just arrived and is all bent out of shape, it's terrible. Rest of the the products are average. I bought this for the cake level mainly and it's awfull.

This just arrived and I’m so pleased, what a bargain, I wasn’t expecting much because the price is so low but the turntable is sturdy and works well and the spatulas and scrapers will be useful. It also included a handy measurement conversion chart, bonus.

This set is great value for money. I bought the rotating stand, 2 pallet knives and the scrapers. They're all very good quality. The turntable is nice and smooth and easy to wash. I really like the pallet knives, especially with the metal handles rather than other wooden handles. Again, very easy to wash. Only used the smooth side of the scrapers but again very good quality, nice and sturdy. The only thing I didn't like is that because all sides of the rectangular scraper have patterns, when scraping the edges of my cake, the right angle was scalloped and would scratch on my cake drum, if that makes sense. The scrapers came in a protective film as well. Overall this whole set is brilliant value for money and I would definitely recommend!

The cake turntable looks great, but the package it missing two pieces - the spatula and the palette knife. I tried contacting the seller but the only option seems to be to return the item?m rather than have the others sent out. A real shame as the rest of the pieces look great.

This set made it a much easier job to apply buttercream to my daughter's birthday cake, and the spatula seemed quite good at smoothing it out. Very happy with my purchase, definitely value for money

Although the turntable foes make a sound that resembles an earthquake when pushed too fast. This product helped me achieve a neat finish in my home bakes. The spatulas and scrapers are excellent. The turntable is fit for purpose as you will be moving it slowly. Overall excellent for the price. Until you can get a posh metal one.

Product as described but items missing on receipt. No frosting, piping bags or tips. Was depending on the bags as needed to decorate my grandsons birthday cake. Why say these are included when they are clearly not. Good old Tesco to the rescue. Would have been five stars if all parts as described there.
