Boraam Shaker Chair, Black/Oak, Set of 2

Love the chairs but the color is orange. Wish i had read the reviews.

These are beautiful chairs. Well made, easy assembly, very sturdy and comfortable. So glad I purchased them.

Sturdy easy to assemble

They are chairs for my dining table. We love them

We replaced 8 kitchen chairs with these. They were somewhat easy to assemble, just putting the screws in at an angle made assembly take a little bit longer. The chairs look nice, but because they are inexpensive, you have to be a bit more gentle. We found the black paint could rub off easier than we'd like if we dragged the chair against something. My husbands cell phone clip on his belt took a chunk of wood out of the side as he was standing up. But I knew what I bought so we just used black marker, or you could use an official wood pen I suppose, and colored in the nicks. Since we have 8 of these chairs, we switched the nicked wood one out with another one we don't use as much. We only purchased these chairs to get us through the next 3 years or so of living in this home which we plan to sell or give away all the furniture when we move. The chairs are not meant to "prolongingly" hold someone weighing much more than 250 pounds, though I do not remember what they were rated at for weight. This is just our experience though. I would recommend these chairs because they do look nice and/or if you are looking for light use.

The chairs are nice, and sturdy. I love the color for my small kitchen table.

I read other reviews. A little orange can be nice. I love pumpkin color. Here is what is good about the set (2 stars):Price. Inexpensive .BUT I REGRET BUYING AND FEEL MISLEAD MY STOCK PHOTOS> WOULD RETURN IF I COULD! Amazon is offering a return well the huge boxes got rain soaked plus the table box arrived damaged so I would have to load these rain soaked boxes in our minivan, disassemble the set, and hope to get these back in the boxes. I think Amazon should pick them up without boxes. These are 40 minutes away. My time and gas! I like the protectors on the chairs and table top. Well packaged but one chair did have a crack in the leg. Amazon was very good about that. OVERALL WHAT DISAPPOINTS ME: We have a small dining room so this atrocious table and chair set is front and center as the star of the dining area. It is not too big for the space but it is what you will notice.6 chairs and a table with tax nearly five hundred. Enough to be a waste! To have to keep this set because to resell it locally no one would buy it for the low price we paid, HURTS! It was inexpensive but still enough money to be a waste. I want a table set that sparks joy. This tabletop stain and seats is way too orange and clashes. I think the stain looks cheap too. we have classic oak, some dark woods, and cherry. This stain looks terrible in our small dining area. I already was sad to move so this table does nothing to make me feel better. I had hope. We assembled the chairs yesterday. Then we got the table assembled today. Table had no damage but way too orangey. If you like pumpkin orange/black then this is your set. I feel like I wasted my money and also feel the photos are misleading and even with warnings from other reviewers I was shocked at how much these chairs and table top seem orange. :( Overall quality is good for price but mean little to me with the look being so off.

I had to replace one chair that was very similar to these so I bought the two pack. These are extremely sturdy and durable chairs easy to assemble.

These chairs were extremely sturdy but due to their significant weight, difficult for me to assemble. It took me an hour and a half to put one chair together, only to find that the front legs didn't line up with the seat....I had to take it all apart to return. The black finish was also a lacquer which chipped easily and I suspect would need frequent touch-ups as some was needed upon arrival. The "oak" seat also had a definite orange colour to it. Although it was very difficult to repackage the chairs, Amazon accepted the return, no problem and issued a refund very quickly. I have ordered 2 new chairs from Amazon which require no assembly.
