The clamps worked fine after I filed the interior rubber down. Without doing that they wouldn't close. Other than that they work great and do the job. Decent value and well-made.

These little collars work great. They work on bars that are .97 of an inch to slightly more than 1 inch. So they work on bars that have the twist on collars, which is nice if you find yourself changing weight often and get tired of spinning the collars off and on. They keep the weight tight together. They are plastic though, so if you expect to be slamming and dropping the weights, they probably will not meet your expectations.

Excellent . Using these on those threaded 1 inch dumbbell bars that never seemto be tight.Just screw the threaded one on to use as the inside collar and use these as the outside collar.Don’t forget to order two sets if you have a pair of dumbbells.

I have the dumbbells with the screw on collars and I don’t think it works too well on this type of bar. It’s a loose fit and I don’t trust it with 40lbs or more over my face. I think it’s better on the Olympic bars where it has more grip on the flat surface.

Easy to use. These provide a secure fit with the easy flip lock. They are also quicker to secure than the twist type. Would recommend

It holds fine by far but it’s loose and the weights kind of dangle a bit.
