We've used VonHaus before so bought again. Not disappointed. These powered secateurs are really good. They are light and powerful and easy to use. I highly recommend them.

My first impressions were unfavourable. The packaging was not particularly solid. The instructions are just dreadful. The third statement was to the effect that the product should not be used outdoors! In fact the verbiage, in multiple languages had nothing to do with the particular tool. It was just generalised guff. The picture instructions, right out of the way at the rear of the guide, were just about adequate. It was indicated that the nut holding the cutters together should be tightened at intervals. No spanner was provided, which I think is mean. However the blade guard provided seemed to be adequately strong and yet easy to remove. The charging connector had a very elaborate plug with four pins but only two wires connected to them. this seems clumsy. The battery has an even more complex connector fitting into the pruner itself. However the battery charged up with the charge light being extinguished at the appropriate time. My first trial of the pruner went well. The interlock preventing accidental operation functioned correctly. The jaws closed relatively slowly, reversing instantly when the trigger was released, giving some chance of avoiding injury to a carelessly placed finger. The cuts made were smooth. Further use will indicate whether battery life or cutter operation continue to be satisfactory.

I bought these ages ago but only used them today when I needed to heavily prune some apple trees in the back garden. I used them for 30 minutes of heavy pruning and the battery didn't run out so it'll certainly last a while. It's quite heavy, and it cut through some quite thick branches (very thick ones too a couple of goes). They seem good value for money. They're quite heavy though. It filled half a garden bin without issue so it's quite effective.

These secateurs are very efficient at trimming bushes and safe to use as the cutting blade only works with the safety control being held. I find it quite a heavy piece of equipment but I am elderly and slightly built. Having said that, I don't hesitate to use it around the garden and it certainly makes cutting back plants easy.

These secateurs are a life-changer! I no longer need to consider employing a gardener, due to an arthritic thumb. They are even better than my mini- chainsaw! The battery lasts an impressive amount of time. I’ve even helped my tenant clear away her Russian bindweed! Marvellous!

These secateurs are brilliant! I have arthritis in my hands and they made easy work of pruning and cutting in my garden. The battery running time is really good and recharges quickly. They are also not overly heavy either. Thoroughly recommend!

Works well, use for my Christmas tree and general gardening.
