Ancient Minerals Magnesium Oil Spray Bottle of Pure Genuine Zechstein Magnesium Chloride - Topical Magnesium for Skin Application (8oz)

Finally!! A product that dulls the pins and needles from neuropathy without a whole bunch of additives. Other magnesium products I’ve used in the past containing menthol or camphor burned the skin off my feet. This oil is pure and I can feel it working within a few minutes. It’s enough to get me to sleep at night without jolting my feet from the pain. I wait until it dries and then put on soft cotton socks both morning night. I’ve spent so much money on magnesium products, it’s such a relief to find one that that I actually works. It proves the saying, the simplest solution, or in this case, the simplest formula, is usually the best. UPDATE: After six weeks of use, twice a day, I can feel tickling in my feet. This is the first time in over a decade I’ve had [pleasant] sensation in my feet!!! One ask: can you consider making a formula that will work in roller ball? The spray drips off my feet and if I try and rub it in, it makes my hands extremely dry.

I had suffered from severe intermittent muscle cramping in my feet, toes, calves, thighs, abdomen, stomach muscles, front ribs, and back since I was a teenager, now I am a Grandmother. On a recent visit to my doctor I mentioned this problem because it was becoming a daily problem. He told me to get some magnesium oil, put 2 Tablespoons , plus 2 cups of Epsom salts ( as they also contain magnesium) in my bath twice a week and in about 4 - 6 weeks, I should notice a considerable difference. He said this was the best way for the body to absorb magnesium as our skin is the largest organ of our body and readily absorbs what we put on it. I put the oil on my skin and wait 20 minutes then get in my Epsom salt tub, fortunately I have a Jacuzzi tube which I hope helps even more . The oil tingles and gets warm and sometimes a little itchy, but for me that went away after about 5 - 8 minutes after I put it on my skin. After 5 weeks I could go every week and a half between the bath treatments. I have kept it at that level now for about 3 months. This company also carries a Magnesium lotion. I use the lotion if I have to delay my mag. soak for a few days because I just can't get the time. The lotion also tingles, and it leaves my skin feeling dry. About 3 hours after I have used the lotion , I put my favorite super hydrating body lotion on, this rehydrates my skin from the drying effect , I also use my favorite body lotion after the bath soak , giving it about 1-2 hours after the soak before I put it on. I used to have horrible leg cramps/Charlie horses that would eject me from bed in the night with so much pain I could not work or sleep, sometimes the cramp would last for a day or two varying in severity, but painful. I used to have toes that would go into cramps with absolutely no prior notice, walking down the street, in the grocery store, anywhere, my toes would curl up or cross over each other and I would be diving for my feet to try and rub them out, if that did not work I would be stepping down as hard as I could on my toes trying to stretch the cramps out. Then as soon as I would sit down or think I had worked out the cramp and relax my foot or toes the cramp would hit again in full force. I had muscle spasms in my back that would cause the long muscle the length of my spine to rise up in a visible mass if my chiropractor touched my back on that muscle, also in my neck. The neck muscle cramps were so severe they caused headaches that lasted for days, sometimes weeks. I like the lotion version of this product best for my neck. This has worked wonders for me. Even though I don't enjoy the drying and tingling effect I get from either the oil or lotion, as soon as I hydrate with a good lotion my skin is nice and soft and no cramping. What a relief after 40 some years and it was getting worse in the past 8 years and horrible in the past 3 years. I am so thankful for these products and of course my doctors advise.

As Dr. Mark Sircus' web site video implies to me, if we could swim regularly in the ocean we would likely have less if any need to shore up vitally needed magnesium in human health maintenance systems. According to many medical professionals [including Dr. Sircus] exposing a growing number of magnesium deficiencies, transdermal magnesium oil can be of vital assistance for absorbing this life maintaining mineral. Please feel free to read that and apply its contents to both of these offerings.] I've recently purchased and tried this Ancient Mineral brand. It appears to me to be equal to the Swanson Ultra offering, yet I have detected a difference, by taste, as noted in this video review. The pricing at this time of posting this review, on each of these potentially lifesaving products, in an 8 oz spray bottle, is: -- $29 free shipping Ancient Minerals -- $9 + $5 shipping = $14 Swanson Ultra Both indicate that they are supersaturated solutions of magnesium chloride brine water from the ancient Zechstein Seabed. I believe they are. I don't know if one is a stronger solution than the other. Here are some of the factors I looked at which might relate here: 1. I have read on the Ancient Minerals web site that they believe it is acceptable to make your own brine water from the magnesium flakes from the Zechstein seabed. I was honestly pleased to read that because I do make and use my own solution from the flakes [though I can't make it as super saturated as AM could, won't be able to test contents, and I use tap water]. 2. I have read on the Zechstein Minerals mine site that they cannot recommend making your own brine water from the flakes, due to a few trace residuals which come through from the breakdown, evaporation process of obtaining flakes from the mined brine solution. Included in that list, in bare trace amounts at a parts per million level [which the site says are not hazardous], are magnesium carbonate, magnesium hydroxide chloride, and some hydrochloric acid in the vapor stream. I recommend visiting their web site to read about this. I appreciated this information, especially the list of residuals, so I can make up my mind whether I'm concerned about them in my case. 3. According to an interesting, helpful discussion topic I read on a web site [CureZone] ANCIENT MINERALS invests time and resources to test each batch they sell of mg brine water, providing a list of the solution content including trace elements. I've checked the AM web site and seen this batch test results list for April 28, 2009. Also, from text included on my spray bottle of AM mg oil, this appreciated information is included: 8 sprays = approx 100 mg elemental magnesium. I've also read and recommend the Magnesium for Life web site, which offers quite a bit of interesting information. I've watched some excellent videos made by Dr. Mark Sircus on his web site, and on YouTube. One thing which stands out in my mind from all this is a comment Dr. Sircus made about wanting to know the precise contents in each batch of mg chloride brine, even that which comes from the Zechstein site. Sircus said, to this effect, "You shouldn't trust what someone else says about that." That seemed to me like a wise assessment which was probably backed by experience. Taking this type of care gives extra costs which must be covered and which I'm willing to pay. However, I also understand why Swanson's medical spokesperson, Dr. Barbara Hensen, living closer to the Netherlands mine site, seems to be comfortably familiar with the Zechstein mining people and process. I can see why she and Swanson trust the product they receive from that mining process. I've formed an intuitive opinion for myself, and given the background provided in my review on the Swanson Ultra mag oil buying page here on Amazon: I believe that for me, both these two magnesium oil products [and possibly others I haven't investigated] are of excellent value in shoring up human nutrition and deficiencies. I will continue to buy and use both of them. I will likely continue to use the highest volume of the Swanson products due to their ability to offer such excellent pricing, yet I will always keep on hand a parallel bottle of the Ancient Minerals spray as well. As I have done with SWANSON and will continue to do, I want to support ANCIENT MINERALS and its supporters; they've proven their integrity to me, and web sites from both these companies have given invaluable information. Companies like these two, and their people and medical professional sponsors, are God Sends to me. I appreciate them more than I can say, along with their willingness to work with Amazon to get their vital products to a larger marketplace, which includes me. I'm not sure why I chose the lotion over the oil. This is my first time using topical magnesium for sleep. It works well and it's easy to use. Definitely do not forget to wash your hands after application. I made the mistake and touched my eye. It didn't cause any problems but it didn't feel good. Also, it leaves a strange feeling on your skin. It's not the tingly feeling some people get when they first use topical magnesium. It's a strange oily and sticky feeling that's gone by the time I wake up the next morning. I don't know if the lotion leaves the same feeling on the skin. But with the oil when using it for sleep I'd apply it to my feet and then wear socks to bed.

I use this magnesium spray to apply to my feet at night to prevent cramps. It works as expected, and the spray makes it easy to apply.

This has totally changed my life...I suffer with sciatica & other nerve pain. I struggled to walk at a general average speed. Just two days of applying this to the areas of my body which was in pain, I could walk at an average speed & even run for the bus (short distance). My mood has lifted & I'm feeling a bit more comfortable within my body & able to sleep better for longer as no pain to keep me awake or wake me up. I have discovered that you can make your own batch up at home, which I have now started to do which is just as effective, but alot cheaper. It's amazing how a bit of magnesium cam have such a life changing effect.
