Rosary Vine - Ceropegia woodii - String of Hearts - 2.5" Pot - Collector' Series

Healthy starter plant , mid life crisis hit and I threw all my plants away tho

I've been looking for a Ceropegia woodii (aka String Of Hearts or Rosary Vine) for about 5 years locally with no luck.Despite ordering during a heat wave (over 90°F), the plant arrived quickly and healthy, with only a couple of shriveled growing tips from the heat. There were still plenty of healthy ends. It came with good packing in the box, and masking tape over the planter opening to hold in the soil (as shown in photo). Only a few granules of soil were loose in the box.My Ceropegia was about 6" long on arrival and has been growing enthusiastically. Several months later, it's now almost double that length, and with more shoots.Beautiful little plant for bright, indirect light. Slightly thick, succulent-like leaves with a lacy pattern of white. Prefers to be slightly dry; I water from the bottom, and it's been working well.Update: one year later, my previously small ceropegia is now at least six times its original size. Growth doesn't seem to be slowing at all. Very happy in my north window. Love it!**Update: 2½ years after purchase, this plant is still going strong! Several feet long, many more growing tips, and has formed the ivory-colored corms along the stem that indicate a mature plant. Well worth the seemingly extreme price and shipping!

Me impresionó mucho que la planta llegara por USPS. Muy bien embalada, así que no sufrió daños. Eso sí: es muy pequeñita. Considero que las fotos que presentan deberían tener algún tipo de escala para uno saber el tamaño. 2 como esa me caben en 1 mano

Good sized plant. Already put new growth on wooden skewer. Very impressed with health of plant.

I actually bought 2 of the string of hearts. They arrived with wet soil nicely packed with plastic wrap undamaged. The vines had to be untangled while reporting. Each plant came with multiple vines, one probably would have been enough of a starter. This arrived Aug 29 and the photo is exactly 1 month later. It grew so well considering in the beginning, the vine were barely hanging over the edge of the pot. Incredibly happy with this purchase.

So cute!!! Bought it in January and it shipped with a heating pad, and it was wrapped up perfectly. Amazon said it wouldn’t arrive until about 3 weeks from now, but it arrived in about 3 days since the day I ordered it! Super fast shipping and great delivery. So excited to see it bloom.

Very small for what you pay for- you’re basically getting a rooted cutting, it isn’t like the stock photo. Healthy so far, quick shipping, but maybe switch the stock photo so people know what they’re actually getting.

It arrived alive, less plant than I expected for the price. It was a 6” strand in a 2” pot. Very small & I was concerned it wouldn’t last long because it was so small & fragile. It’s still living & seems to be doing well.
