Mezzo Forte

I originally saw this on a cable channel and though the violence and language was in it, I could tell something had been cut out. After watching this version, it turns out the scenes cut were (no spoilers) hardcore porn between Mezzo and different people. Great movie, just be warned: This goes much farther than typical fan service.

This is GREAT anime. I watched a censored version on YOUTUBE and it is quite effective even with the sex scenes cut out. Even so-this is the full on hentai edition and it delivers. BIG TIME.

The OVA has some great action scenes and def not for kids. Case and DVD looks like they were printed from a home printer. The DVD did work.

Definitely not for kids but a big yes for adults, much like Kite (1998) Mezzo Forte has great animation, action, humor and sex appeal for mature viewers. Though I do think the story is a little better & much more "light hearted" than Kite.

Uncut and uncensored

This came a week earlier than projected so I was really excited about that. To top it off both the box and the disc came in great condition! I've only seen the general release version, so I'm really happy to now have that and the uncut in one collection!

Insane scenes aside this is peak anime hand drawn original scifi

Mezzo Forte, seen as the edited version is an exciting story with plenty action, a good twist or two, and pretty accurate gun play for an anime. I purchased this unedited version in hopes that there was more to the story, even with the rather graphic sex scenes included. The fact of the matter is there wasn't, and unless you're buying it for the aforementioned sex scenes, you can save some money and buy an edited copy locally, assuming your town has a video store.
