I was really happy with the two file organizers I received. Super easy to put together - just popped up and the lid is perfect. Very nice quality materials were used. No weird smells (or any smells at all) like we've all experienced with internet orders. Nice texture and the boxes look nice enough to leave out in the open in my office - very professional - and have nice touches like a box area to label on both the short and long edges of the box and nice metal edged holes to carry. I have letter sized hanging files and file folders and they both fit perfectly. The organizers came with both legal and letter sized rods and fit easily in the box. I loaded it up with files and it was sturdy and had no problem with the weight. I would highly recommend.

These are essentially the same size as a cardboard bankers-type box; these linen ones are just a tiny bit longer in each direction to accommodate the width of the metal hangers on file folders. The removable metal rails fit down inside the box which is nicer than other brands of collapsible boxes where the file folder hangers actually rest on the top edge of the box. The metal rails will stay in place if you pinch them tighter on the box with pliers. The linen box looks nice, the seams and lining are well-sewn, and these will look much better in your home office than stacks of cardboard boxes.The lid fits snugly on the box and is super-sturdy feeling. The sturdiness of the lid adds a lot of stability to the sides of the box when you're carrying the box, because when you grip the box handles, your hand essentially is gripping the lid too. The bottom of the box is just canvas (this is what allows it to be collapsed for storage), but comes with a stiffer insert to place on the inside bottom of the box. If you're using hanging files that are resting on the metal rails, the sturdiness of the box bottom is irrelevant in carrying the box around, because nothing will be resting on the "floor" of the box. However, if you're using the box to store documents in redwelds, you might have an issue if you're planning on transporting the boxes around a lot-- I don't think these boxes would hold up to being moved around all the time (i.e., back and forth each day from home to car to office, etc.). If you need boxes for that kind of transportation, you should probably invest in plastic non-collapsible boxes. But if you're just using these boxes for your home office to store files that won't be moved around or transported very often, I think these are sturdy enough to withstand that kind of usage.Each of my collapsible boxes came with two short and two long metal rails to accommodate using the box for either letter-sized or legal-sized hanging folders. Because of the stability that the lid provides to the sides of the box, I'm comfortable with stacking full boxes at least two-high on top of each other and they'd probable be okay three-high. I'm happy with this purchase.

I've experienced these file boxes to be great in every way except for when I pulled them out today to file something and found all the files were laying down in the box. Apparently the railings (which attach by hanging on the edge of the box, the bar which the files hang from is on the inside of the box) had fallen off at some point. Since the whole point of having these boxes was to keep my files organized without having a big filing cabinet it's a bit of a bummer to pull them out and find them in a mess. I'll have to find a way to fix them to the box since they can easily fall off. Otherwise these boxes seem pretty sturdy and are easy to assemble. They also come with two sets of railings so you can fit either legal or letter sized files.

Very sturdy. I am a teacher working from home without a home office. I keep my laptop, document camera, several files, a graphing calculator, plan book and grade book in it to carry back and forth to the dining room table. It’s holding up well and feels secure. Putting it together was easy except the metal guides to hold file folders. I needed pliers to bend them into place or they would fall right off. I took off a star for that since they could easily fix that.It comes with the metal guides in two lengths so you can use either legal or letter size files. The lid is super strong. It also looks nice so when this horrible work from home because of COVID is over, I will repurpose it.

I spent some time looking for a stylish file box. I read reviews and learned be careful that you’re not purchasing a storage box and second that the lid will fit. This file box is great for the price! Easy to assemble, for my hanging files (you can put the side bars on for either legal size or letter size). You are able to put the plastic labels on your hanging files and the top fits beautifully. It appears very sturdy and well made. I should have ordered a second one!

At first I was a bit hesitant with this purchase but when I got it, I was so glad! It was very easy to put together, <1 minute honestly. The files fit in nicely and going through them is also easy. They're also extremely sturdy, I didn't expect that and was pleasantly surprised. They have labels on two sides if you want to use them and then two sides with no labels, which I was glad to see. They look really nice overall and I was very happy. I bought a 2nd one a week or so later. You won't be disappointed!

I wanted to store and organize my kids school papers and artwork, and these were perfect. I didn’t like the clear plastic bin ideas and went with these instead. these look very good sitting on the shelf in my office, so I can keep them out and ready to use. You can use them as either standard or legal size layout, and the legal size makes it easy to store anything your kid brings home. Also, there were two in the box... just right for my two kids. The box and lid are very sturdy. The floor of the box is not, so I don’t recommend if you’re not going to use for hanging file folders.
